Why are humans so obsessed with fitting in with groups, such as gay, bisexual, etc???

Fitting in? Don’t make me laugh. I don’t know what rock you have been living under but lgbtq+ isn’t the “norm”, hun.  There is no “being lgbtq+ to fit in”. There is lying about being straight to fit in tho cuz this world is filled with delusional mfs who think being lgbtq+ is unnatural and think that  we deserve to be r@ped, hunted, and killed for simply being ourselves.

The only people who are obsessed with expressing the fact that they “are” lgbtq+ are just straggots who are only doing it to be quirky or for the trend. 

It’s not that they’re obsessed with fitting in, it’s that words and labels are nessecary for proper communication and definition. Obviously 

They must stop obsessing about categories I agree. You're either straight and cis or you're a freak. 

by nature we (most of us) are a social species.    

People are social animals. Birds of a feather flock together.

Because the human species is such a social animal that has developed social interactions that include fitting in and making bonds with those who they find similar.  Way back in early human times, those who didn't fit in with the tribe/group were outcast and had a far harder chance of survival on their own.  It's wired into our brains.
