If a person says hi to you in a polite way but it sort of sounds bland and their face expression looks mostly neutral, I'm not affected by them and I find them boring. However if a person says hi in a polite yet sort of affectionate, kind way and their face expression looks warm, then I am affected by it. It makes me want to be their friend. The only time I'm not affected by it is if I dislike the person.
@Tublet, yes I've had the same people say hi in a bland way many times again and again. I don't hate them for it but what I'm saying is, I'm not affected by it. But when people say hi in a way where they give off a warm energy, it makes me want to be their friend. I'm asking if you also want to be friends with people when they give off that warm vibe.
