Cooking: What can I make with potato starch powder?

    You can add it to soups e.t.c. to thicken it.

    There will be recipes online, maybe on Google, I think you can add it to a bread recipe?

    You can use potato starch in place of corn starch in any recipe.  Corn starch might be labelled as "corn flour" if you're British or Aussie, it's the white powdery stuff.  If you're looking to use some up try making melting moments!*

    *There are two kinds of cookies/biscuits by that name.  I mean the one without oats and cherries that's more like shortbread.  Here's a recipe:

    NB Potato flour and potato starch are the same thing.  It just depends on where you live on how it's labelled.

    You can lightly coat seafood with potato starch prior to frying, for a light texture and flavor.

    You can use it, sparingly, for a coating before frying delicate foods, like fish. I wouldn't use it in a deep fryer, you would probably just get a gooey mess.
