Well, first of all, not all aborted children face that choice of premature elimination or foster homes, so the issue is way more complicated that you want to pretend it is.

I do not see how it is "right" to create a life just to take it way because it is inconvenient in some way.  But wrongs come in a wide range of severity, so one wrong (abortion) can be a lot less wrong than another (giving birth to an unwanted child and forcing them to suffer an abusive life, or perhaps as bad or worse, destroying the lives of the existing parents and others around).  there is no good answer to a bad situation.  The bad situation is sometimes not even avoidable (no one's fault) because of rape and accidents despite doing all things possible to minimize risk.

It is way overly simplistic to say that it is wrong or right without ever considering the circumstances.  Right and wrong are balance considerations, frequently not simple.

I am not FOR abortion. I am against others telling the people who face a horrible dilemma what they must do.  In an ideal world there would be no abortion, and no need to ever abort.  We do not live in an ideal world.
