What would happen if someone did this at the vaccine center?

I talked to my cousin,, who got his shots at the same vaccination site I did.

I find out that he got his first shot no problem, but when he went for the appointment for his second dose, he finds out the idiot who scheduled his second appointment and sent him an email confirmation, didn't actually put him in their system.

So he gets denied his second shot and rescheduled for a few days later.

He comes back, another 45 minute drive and partial day taken off work, to find out AGAIN they have no record of his second appointment, and even after he's showing his email confirmations, they are still turning him away, this time saying "someone will call him."

A week later he's still waiting for that call that is clearly not coming, so he finally finds a pharmacy with an appointment available.

Well i got my shots at the same place, and the vials and syringes were sitting right there on the table.

If that had been me, and they were twice in a row refusing to honor what they promised, I would have just said enough is enough and picked it up and innoculated myself.

Then filled out the second line on my vaccination card myself.

What are they gonna do?

Doubt the senior citizen volunteers and the old fuddy duddy doctors are gonna go into commando move and wrestle a 6 foot 4, 280 pound 31 year old guy like myself to the ground.

My cousin should have done the same thing. Don't depend on them to keep their word as to what they promised him.

ENFORCE their promise.

Immediately, I need to talk to the president or manager of the clinic and the person who scheduled me.  Right now.

I would bring a printed copy of the e-mail and ask the manager to make it right and to work me in.

Taking something without permission is theft. Having an appointment doesn't change that. No need to wrestle you to the ground when they have all your personal information.
