Can I take legal action against him?

I found out that my Childs father has deceived me for 4 years. He made me believe in something that wasn't  true , made me believe he loved me and turns out he never loved me and was only pretending to be with. Says first off was with me to get sex  and then after having a baby was with me to be able to raise his child also. He deceived me throughout all this and just lied to me. I feel humiliated and I want to take legal action against him or get some compensation from him for what he has done. He wasted 4 years of my life.

    There is no legal action that has any likelihood of success.

    You may be able to get child support but you can't win a lawsuit for emotional hurt.

    No. What you describe is retaliation, not justice. 

    If you ever got it inside a courtroom, here is how it would go:

    Him: Your Honor, I truly did love her, I just said those things to make her mad. 

    Judge: Case dismissed.
