Should I punish my child for cracking the screen of the Iphone I bought for them?
My child cracked her iphone screen, and as you may assume, I am furious. She doesn’t have the money to fix the screen and I am not paying for it, but should I ground her? or accept it and understand that accidents happen?

This isn't about punishing, its about discipline
There are two valuable lessons she needs to learn here 1) Its never ok to throw things 2) If you damage another persons property then you pay the financial costs to either repair it or replace it. This is YOUR job as a parent, is to teach her these very valuable life lessons.
I'm going to guess your child is too young to have a job no? Correct me if I'm wrong here, and I'll edit my answer. If I am right, then what needs to happen is she needs to be given work to do around the house, and in turn you will pay her $ and in turn she will use that money to replace/repair the phone.
Easy.

First how old are they and second I really don't think it was on purpose, personally I don't believe children should have one until they can prove they are responsible with something like that a tablet a cheep inexpensive no name tablet you know something about 30 or 40 bucks and if that pans out then discuss a phone . Just my opinion

stop being a troll , everyone knows you dont get a kid an iphone , what model is it !!! lol .. Your just as dumb as a woman who carries a phone in the jeans back pocket ..

You should have known she would drop it.
Children shouldn't have cellphones to start with, much less a bulky, expensive thing like an IPhone.
If it was an accident, then I wouldn't ground her, but I certainly wouldn't get her another phone.

Get the biggest belt you have and absolutely decimate your child's *** for the grave mishap of cracking a screen.

Put a piece of packing tape over her cracked screen. When she earns the money to get it repaired, that's when it gets repaired.
Pretty simple.

No child needs a phone PERIOD.
You are merely giving pedophiles, kidnappers, and perverts 24 hour access to your child and they will be brainwashed by all the predators on the web

By not repairing or replacing it for at least one year.
She can deal with the broken phone since she didn't take care of it.
I made it VERY CLEAR to my children that I would NEVER replace broken electronics - especially if the reason it broke was because of how they handled it.
