Because Derek Chauvin is innocent.  At no point during the entire bodycam video did he in any way compress a fentanyl-high criminal's trachea.  The scumbag killed himself, and now America will burn again over that piece of human garbage.

Many conservatives think they support “law and order.” So when an officer is charged with a crime they side with the police regardless of the circumstances. Most feel if a person is stopped by the police they must be guilty of a crime. Also most white conservatives don’t accept the concept of systemic racism. Many feel if Chauvin is convicted the public will suffer and policing will be suspected and ineffective.

They think White men should get away with murder.
