Does Auto dominant polycystic kidney disease cause problems with menstrual cycles? ?

I was diagnosed with ADPKD three or four years ago. These last few months, I have been experiencing excruciating pain leading up to my period. I can barely walk or stand. I feel like I’m going to pass out, and I get hot and cold flashes along with stabbing pain in my abdomen. I’ve been doing tons of research and I can’t find any link between menstrual cycles and ADPKD. Does anyone have any ideas? I’m almost positive they’re linked because as my PKD is worsening, so are the pains. I won’t see my kidney doctor for another few months, so I’m asking here before having to deal with scheduling an earlier appointment.
