    I never saw a lack of carrots. nor Spinach, either. I suppose it did/could happen.  I know during major wars, there were bad shortages and rationing.

    Yes.  These days, the frozen vegetable section at my grocer is often all picked over.

    THEY DO.

    Well sort of. I only like to buy shredded carrot.. and conveniently that's the one style that is never in stock. Makes me mad....as a bird

    Yes, my grocery store ran out of everything when the pandemic started. And when some inconsiderate person decides they're going to make something for a hundred people or stock up on something that's on sale, they don't care what they buy out. I'm sure that's happened with carrots.
