Why do people buy stuff from people on Facebook Marketplace ?

People who buy other people's things are typically looking for a bargain or are collectors of items or the item they want isn't manufactured anymore. "One person's trash is another person's treasure."

Lots of people probably buy things without getting stabbed, but I don’t like to buy or sell things that way.
