Really scared there might be something seriously wrong with my lungs?

I have had asthma all my life. But recently, it has gotten worse. I keep catching bronchitis frequently and have chest pains. I have had an ekg and my heart is perfect. But im worried about the pain because it seems to be coming from the lungs not the heart. What can be going on with me should i ask the doctor for further testing like a ct scan or mri?

You should explain your concerns and symptoms to your dr and, if necessary, ask for a referral to a pulmonologist. Don't wait, lungs are important.

You don’t ask for specific things you go and have a frank conversation and they will advise you on the next step. You may need a pulmonologist
