Consider for a moment bleach comes in a plastic bottle and you know the hokey answers.
If shower stall has hard water stains, then C.L.R. works. Keep vinegar for the salad. Follow directions on the bottle and you are fine.

depends on the materials the shower stall is made of. some 'modern' plastics used in such stalls do not handle bleach well, so one has to use citric acid based cleaners instead.
