    y intercept = 3

    x intercept = 4

    horizontal asymptote = 3/4 (?)

    vertical asymptote = 1

    f(x) = u(x)/v(x)

    y intercept = 3 → u(0) = 3

    x intercept = 4 → u(4) = 0 → x - 4 is a factor of u(x)

    u(x) = -(3/4)(x-4)

    vertical asymptote = 1 → (x-1) is a factor of v(x)

    horizontal asymptote = 3/4 → lim(x→±∞) u(x)/v(x) = 3/4

    v(x) = k(x-1)

    limit(x→±∞) -(3/4)(x-4) / [k(x-1)] = -3/(4k) = 3/4

    k = -1

    f(x) = -(3/4)(x-4)/[(-(x-1) = 3(x-4)/[4(x-1)]

    Ans: f(x) = 3(x-4)/[4(x-1)]
