I loved L'Occitaine's Honey and Citrus perfume. What's a similar fragrance?
The question says it all, but without searching countless fragrance sites and stores I don't know what to choose. I loved the warm, vanilla and honey notes. I loved the little but sharp of the citrus. It was my favorite fragrance of all time. Any ideas about a similar perfume?
1 AnswerOther - Beauty & Style9 years agoDoes cat hair get into your skin?
Every now and again I have a strange pain in my foot and upon inspection find that a cat hair has slipped in like a splinter. The sensation is the same every time but I have never met or heard from another person to whom this happens. They aren't whiskers, they are definitely hairs. Anyone else? Is there something strange about my skin?
The answer is not that it is not cat hair. It is most definitely cat hair. Thanks, internet

1 AnswerCats9 years agoWhat kind of pears do I like?
I've never cared for pears. Until I was in the UK and Ireland and had pears that started greenish and ripened to a brown, rough surface. They were super soft (OK for even babies to eat) and very juicy. I'm back in the states and I have no idea what variety of pears those are. So, if you know your pears please tell me what kind I like so I can buy them!
4 AnswersCooking & Recipes9 years agoGive me your advice for travel with a one year old, please!?
We're going on vacation to the US from Ireland in 10 days. We've made this flight before with our daughter when she was 3 weeks (easy), 6 months (less easy but OK) and now again that she's 1. Any advice, tips, tricks that you have learned would be very much appreciated. She can crawl but not walk, LOVES people and is generally very easy going. She also eats anything and is totally weaned.
Thanks!
7 AnswersToddler & Preschooler10 years agoHow can I maintain "brainpower"?
I know this seems insane but hear me out. I'm 35. I had a baby a year ago. Up until that time, I was a biology, environmental science and physics teacher. I have a B.S. in Biology and a Master of Education. I'm not exceptional in any way, but I once considered myself intelligent. I can acquire new information very easily, especially if I'm using it straight away. I also have a nearly insatiable desire to learn new things. Suffice it to say that I'm a nerd. Not a great one, but a nerd.
Since I had my baby and have been doing the stay-at-home mommy thing, I feel as though my brain is melting away. I'm finding I don't know all the stuff I used to. I feel like I'm not very smart anymore.
How can I boost my brainpower. Not with silly homeopathy but something that works, tell me what games I could play, activities I could do daily or games to play with my daughter that will get my mental edge back and keep it. Teaching has always done this for me....so now I'm lost.
1 AnswerMental Health10 years agoShould I get proper shoes for my one year old?
She's a pre-walker/ cruiser. She doesn't seem too interested in standing on her own, but I'm sure that will change shortly. I have read that barefoot is best for tiny ones are they learn to walk, but we live in Dublin so it's quite cold all the time. I have her in soft-soled leather shoes now, just to keep her feet a little warmer.
Also, she has tiny feet. She's just one and she's still easily fitting in her 6-12 month sized slippy shoes.
Thanks!
3 AnswersToddler & Preschooler10 years agoMaternity care/ public in Ireland?
Hi! My partner has accepted a new job and we will be moving to Ireland in Feb. I will be 6 months pregnant and will not have access to a job. My partner will not be making enough to pay for private health care (does anyone). We're also US residents, so not EU nationals. I'm really scared about going through birth as I've read horror stories about public maternity care. Can I get access to public health care? Is there any hope of having a decent birth experience in Ireland?
2 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoOvulation, TTC, OPK question?
So here's what I'm looking at.
My partner and I are TTC through AI. THis month was going to be the first attempt....but here is the data.
Started OPK testing on CD11 and have every day since (now day22). These were all negatives.
Had crazy EWmucus on CD9 and then again on CD11. I've been 29-30 day exactly for years.
I haven't been taking temps, so no data there.
Any guesses? Did we miss the LH surge? Anyone know the sensitivity of the kits?
Thanks in advance.
