I have been making spread sheets, BUT when i send my work in, no one can open these darn .xlsx files. everyone i send them to says they can't open them. What is the problem? Can i convert these before i send them so other people without Vista can open with ease? I am sending information to companies, so i really can't ask them all to go download something to convert my files with, i need to do it on MY end..

With teenagers and little ones at home...I want to have the freedom to use sites such as Facebook and Myspace as well as kids gaming sites like Nick Jr. and Webkinz without getting a virus, adware, or other annoying crap that can ruin a computer. I'd also like something I don't have to pay 60 bucks for each program per year. Any help or Advice?

I am looking for songs about school, or friends.. I already have "we are going to be friends" from the White Stripes, and You've got a friend in me... Any other ideas? The can't be explicit :)

It could be an actual song, and "un named" song, or part of an end to a song.. i can't remember it.. I'm just looking for what it's called or what album it's from.. any clues?

I wanted to split and mix MP3's but anything you download off of Itunes or Napster is AAC" proprietary or restricted file formats". Where do you get music that isn't protected so you can mix it? Will it still not work if I go out and buy the CD and upload it? I know DJ's mix music all the time on the computer. How do they get around it?

It's on some commerical for a Cartoon on Cartoon Network, it says something about "With all your powers..." what would you do?......and the commerical is for a new show called Squirrel Boy. I've also heard the song while shopping at Old Navy.. It's driving me CRAZY! Anyone know what it's called and who it's by? Thanks all!

I'm not talking about 6 to 10 year old stuff, The things I'm selling are only about 3 or 4 years old. I've got some baby and toddler clothes from Gymboree, Baby Gap and Children's Place that are fairly new, no stains on them and still look great. There are also several cute pairs of shoes that were never even worn. I've also got a toddler bed with the mattress, a little tykes kitchen and a few VSmart electronic toys that work just fine. Some people I talk to say to price the clothes and toys at a buck or two, but I just can't imagine doing that for stuff that originally cost more than 20 bucks. Is 4 or 5 bucks too much? How about the Toddler bed with mattress? The mattress is a Sealy Comfort bed, one side for infants and one side for older babies. Would 20 bucks for the set be too much? I'm just sitting here on the PC, and my Kitty came up and just plopped herself down right in my lap and purred. Cats are the coolest. What does your cat do that makes you smile? Mine will get on me when I am asleep and try to sleep as close to me as she can get. She will lay with me until the alarm goes off. What a sweetie!

I'm thinking I've had enough of my cruddy PC... I'm thinking of switching to Mac, but know nothing about them. Are they really the best for Digital Imaging and Design? Do they really have less troubles? I'll be using it for Photography, internet acess, school work and I'd like to be able to burn CD/DVD's with it... Any suggestions on what Mac Notebook or Mac product I should look into? Thanks!
