Minimum wage in California?
So I believe the minimum wage increases in California will play in part of the upcoming inflation.
I know that this July, the minimum wage will go up to $9.00, which is a dollar more than now. Does other people's pays go up by a dollar too? For example, does a person who's making $9.00 now will make $10? Why or why not? Sources?

So, a while back, there was a coworker. She was 16 at the time. There was a claim that a 200 pack of band-aids were bought in for first aid use. A few days later, after one person claimed he used one, the other 199 bandages were gone. The box was still there. What does this mean?

4 AnswersFast Food9 years agoHow to end a friendship nicely? NEED HELP!!?
So, lately, this girl friend (just a friend, not a girlfriend) and I have been friends since the beginning of the year, but as of late, things are not working out between us. We always argue via texting for the stupid reasons. When I hanged out with her, things went alright and there weren't any arguments then, so I guess it's safe to say that we "text argue", and it sounds serious and it's not a joke. I also feel that she's not treating me like a friend, one example being that when I was on the phone with her, she was always clicking her phone, texting over me, and everytime I say something, she doesn't hear, so I'm guessing I'm not on speaker when she does that. The one thing that sucks is that she's my former boss's daughter.
I've decided that I want to move on, considering the fact that she's out of state, miles and miles away. I think it's best for me and her, but I feel that only more drama will occur and she's going to try to bring me down by talking s**t to other people that we both know. What should I do? Do I not text her back anymore when she sends a text? Do you think she'll rat out on me to her mother (my former boss), preventing me from a getting job?
5 AnswersFriends10 years agoI NEED HELP TO DEAL WITH THIS GIRL FRIEND? LADIES AND GUYS!?
So, there's this girl that I've been friends with since we met while working together during the holidays. It turns out that she's my [former] boss's daughter.
Her and I have been fighting about some random things all the time lately. We always text each other, and that's been like 90% of the way we communicate, so we fight via texting. She has criticized me for caring about what other people think of me. I mean, if by that, I'm trying to look out for myself and see what I do wrong, does that make me egotistic? And there were some people that thought we were dating, which I didn't like the idea because I don't like her like that, and she got upset and called me egotistic and a smartass for that.
Recently she had told me that I made her cry (later on, she told me again that I made her cry "2 or 3 times". This was after I told her about how she almost made me cry). I'm starting to think that she is making up those things to make me feel bad, which I did feel so.
Bottom line, she is my former boss's daughter. I'm thinking that if I ever do things like never to talk to her or something, her mom might not let me get a new job someday. Btw I said FORMER, so I'm no longer working for her mom. I don't have a job now.
If it's really true that I did make her cry, even though she doesn't seem to want to tell me the reasons how or why, even after I pointed out a few arguments that we had and she said it's wasn't this or that, then I think it's right that I don't talk to her so I don't make her cry or hurt her feelings. I mean, I don't know if this girl even likes me.
We recently had an argument about how I blocked her from seeing my posts on Facebook, and hell broke loose. I don't want to hurt her feelings or anything, and I guess I care too much sometimes, but doesn't make me a bad person, does it? Btw, I'm pretty sure most of you agree that what I did with the blocking business was F'd up.
Anyway, what can I do to break ties with her? I don't like it when she's texting me (she does it almost every day), and I feel that later on, she's going to post some smartass comments on my Facebook statuses that are going to cause more B.S. later. With all these info presented, what's your conclusion?
2 AnswersFriends10 years agoQuestion on Job Experience Info?
So, I worked for this company twice. The first time, I worked from June 2009 to August 2010. The second time, I've worked from December to January 2011. The second time happened because the company called to offer me a seasonal job. The reason I left in the first place was because it was conflicting my studies.
Do you think I should say in the job experience section (on resumes or online job application) saying that I worked there twice at different times, or something else?
Thanks in advance!
1 AnswerOther - Careers & Employment10 years agoFighting with a friend.... [GIRLS HELP!]?
Okay, so this girl and I have been fighting recently. We've been texting each other several times the last couple of days and we always end up pissing each other off. We've usually fight about how we're annoying each other and how much of a jerk we are to each other.
So as of now, she's not texting me back, and I'm getting the feeling that she doesn't want to talk to me anymore. I like her a lot as a friend. We're strictly friends but other people think we like each other. Lol. So anything helpful to say about this?
Please don't be a smartass. Will choose best answer.
