For example, I could say that I believe something "beyond" the evidence for things that can't be disproven, but could one for example, besides choosing faith over doubt really think that:

"Christianity makes more sense and all the evidence points to it, but I want to be Hindu, so I will be Hindu" or could someone walk outside while it's raining, not want it to rain, and believe it is not raining?

Aside from that following a religion simply to escape hell would probably annoy the deity, aren't Christianity and Islam the only religions that believe in *ETERNAL* damnation, whereas other religions' punishments have some sort of time limit even if it's thousands of years of torment, and therefore you should pick one of these two?
