10 AnswersCooking & Recipes9 years agoIs it absolutely compulsory to wear a hat for a royal garden party?
i have very reluctantly agreed to accompany my royal loving husband to one of these at Sandringham this summer. Wearing a hat would be the last straw.
6 AnswersRoyalty9 years agoWhat is search glow (when using Hotmail and the internet)?
I think it's part of Windows Live. It really slows things down when I am in Hotmail, and I would like to get rid of it. If you try and 'end task' it all freezes and crashes. How can I get rid of it?
Thank you
1 AnswerProgramming & Design1 decade agoWhy does the Yahoo spellcheck not like English spellings?
I hate being told I have mis-spelt a word just because I refuse to use American English. I mean things like colour, favourite, and so on. I mean, it was our language first, right?
2 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoanyone know of law relating to divorced fathers having to contribute to children's university expenses (in UK)
Both my teenage daughters will be at Uni in September and my cheapskate ex has reduced his payments to me to £30 per week for just my son. I will find it really hard to go on helping them out of my own wages. He lives with his mum and has no mortgage or other commitments. Anyone know of any cases?
3 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoDoes anybody out there know about tuberous sclerosis?
Obviously, I have read all the info I can from the 'net and elsewhere, but that's not the same as personal experience. My son, who has learning difficulties, seizures etc is being investigated for this.
5 AnswersOther - Diseases1 decade agoAnyone else had problems with Zenith Windows salesmen?
I made the mistake of allowing one to come and give us a quote, as they assured us that the quote would be good for two years (we were not ready to have anything done yet). The chap spent nearly 4 hours trying to sign us up on the night. What a waste of an evening (his and ours).

3 AnswersOther - Diseases1 decade agoHas anyone ever used a steam cleaner for carpets. Do they work? I am thinking of buying one on offer.?
Woolworths have one reduced to £25 but I don't know if it would be any good. I mainly want to clean floors and carpets.
17 AnswersCleaning & Laundry1 decade agoDoes anyone know if it is possible to edit data on a CD RW or DVD RW, after you have saved a file?
I have pages from a long document saved to DVD RW. I had no problem saving, but the data now appears as 'read only' and therefore changes cannot be saved (as they can on a floppy or memory stick). Is it possible to remove 'read only'?
