  • How to convert men's ring size?

I measured my fiance's ring finger w/ a piece of paper. It is approx. 3.75 inches in circumference, which translates into 95.25 millimeters. I cannot find what that is in ring sizes. They only go up to about 76mm. Anyone know where I can find this info or how to figure it out?

    Thanks!

  • How to make face cradle covers for a massage table?

Does anyone have a pattern for these or can tell me how to make them? They are way too expensive to buy, so I figured since I have a sewing machine, I could make them on my own for much less. I would like to make them with the elastic around the edge also.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Wedding confusion! Help!?

We're facing a big dilemma on where and how to have our wedding. We just got engaged (been together almost 5 years), we live in Arizona and have family / friends in AZ, CA, IN, IL, and MI. We are non-traditional and really don't want a big wedding. For my extended family, that would be like putting all the rats in a cage and seeing which ones eat each other :) So, here are the dilemmas:

1.) Do we get married here in AZ or go back "home" to IN/MI where our families are?

2.) We are both scared out of our minds about getting up in front of everyone and saying our vows. It's not the vows that scare us...just the fact that we're the center of attention. However, I really want what little immediate family I have left to be there, so eloping is out of the question.

3.) We're only going to invite between 30-50 people. How much is too much when it comes to the scale of the wedding / reception?

    I need some suggestions. Thanks!

  • Can a bank take money out of another person's account to cover overdrafts in your account?

My account was overdrawn due to a creditor taking out money without permission (long story but it's in dispute). I tried to close the account to prevent anymore shenanigans but they wouldn't because it was in overdraft. I tried to put a hold on it, but nope, they wouldn't do that either. My mother also has an account at the same bank. She is the primary account holder and I am a joint owner for "in case of emergency" purposes only. The bank, without any notice, took money out of her account and deposited it into my account to cover the overdraft. When I called to have the money put back, they refused saying they have the right to do so because my name was on the account. I have nothing to do with the account since it's hers and now she is about to go into overdraft herself because this came out of left field. Has this happened to anyone? I can't believe that #1 this is legal, and #2 they did it without any notice. Any suggestions on how to get her money back?

  • I need to choose a massage therapy school?

I live near Phoenix, AZ, and I am wanting to get into massage therapy. I have narrowed the schools down to 3: Arizona School of Massage Therapy, Pima Medical Institute, and Apollo College. There is a ton of stuff on ASMT, but nothing on Pima or Apollo as far as reviews. I'm really looking for somewhere that will give me a great education, has a good reputation, and employers will look favorably on. My schedule isn't really going to work with ASMT, so that is why I need to find somewhere else. Has anyone had any experience with Pima or Apollo? Thanks in advance!

  • Getting Rid of Flies In My Yard?

I have a lot of flies in my backyard. I have a dog, which I make sure to clean up the yard daily, but the flies won't go away. Our neighbor behind us has a dog also that they leave out all of the time so I'm not sure if they are coming from there or not. What are some good products to use that are non-toxic to animals? We can get a bug zapper, but I would have to have it on all the time, so that's not really an option. I live in Arizona if that makes a difference.

    Thanks!

  • My puppy has had diarrhea for 2 days...Help!?

I have a 10 week old German Shepherd puppy. We've had him for about 3 weeks and have had no real diarrhea problems until yesterday. All day yesterday and so far this morning he has had really watery diarrhea (no blood or anything else). I gave him a serving of rice mixed with chicken broth yesterday (after 2 regular helpings of food) and again this morning. The only thing I can think of that would have caused this sudden change, is we bought him a crate to sleep in a couple of days ago to help with potty training. Before that he had free reign over the laundry room. Could this be the problem? New surroundings? He's still very playful and not acting any different than before. He's drinking plenty of water, not dehydrated, and UTD on all of his shots and worming.

I've heard Pepto and Immodium are good to use. Has anyone had any success with these? Any other suggestions?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Question for Inground pool owners?

We are a family of 4 and wanting to buy a house with an inground pool. We have never owned a house with a pool before, so we are basically clueless as to what all it entails. I know we would use the pool a lot. So, we were wondering:

    1. How much is upkeep (pool service, chemicals, etc.)

    2. How much does it add to your house taxes

    3. We live in Arizona, so would it be beneficial to have saltwater or chlorine

    4. Anything else we need to consider / advice

    Thanks in advance!!

  • Is this legal?

I had a credit card over 2 years ago. I lost my job, so I called them and made a deal (yes it was in writing) about my payments. They did not hold up their end of the deal, ended up charging off my card, and then turned me over to a collection agency for the remaining balance. Last January (2006) was the last time they reported a negative on my credit report and they turned me over to collections. I look today (3/17/2007) and within the past 2 weeks, they have entered negative reportings since the last one up to now. Is this even legal? They didn't report for over a year, sent me to collections, charged-off the account, and now reporting me negative? I know that the last negative (Jan. 2006) will stay on there for 7 years, but the rest after that should be taken off right? I have had no communication with them since they sent me to collections. I entered a dispute through the credit reporting today. My credit report went down over 80 points because of this. Help!
