I just finished up my first year of college. I want to be a doctor. That s all I ve ever wanted to be. I was having a talk with my mom and she wanted me to go the nursing route before going the medicine route. What is the difference? Like I know for both medicine and nursing I been to take like bio 1,bio 2 etc. if I complete let s say those two classes for nursing will I only have to return back to school to do my left over Pre Reqs for med school or will I need to start over from scratch? This is probably a dumb question but I do get confused. People always say Med and Nursing are two different routes and I want a further explanation on why that is. Thank you in advance :)

Hello. So a few months ago I had a mass on my left breast. I went to the doctor and she sent me to get an ultrasound but the ultrasound showed that it was just tissue apparently. I had shoulder pain(left also) for like 1-2 weeks during that time. Now as of yesterday my breast started hurting again. Not big Pain, like I can still function but of course some times it hurts. Only sometimes hurt isn't the word. I really mean it aches a lot. The same left shoulder is hurting me again. The only difference is that this time I don't feel a lump anywhere. Sometimes I feel the ache/ or sting in my right breast but that happens during random times so it's like that doesn't Exist. The breast doesn't bother me not even half as much as the shoulder. Like my shoulder hurts a lot! It's sore. I actually feel it every second. As always I am freaking out and on google looking up my symptoms which is making it worse. I am turning 19 in march, African American female (if that helps anything). Family doesn't have a history of any cancer, so what could this be? Should I be worried? Is this apart of hormones. My period ended exactly a week ago.

I saw my doctor a few days later (last thursday) and she said the lump was about 2inches wide and she told me to go get an ultrasound. I am 18 years old, african american( If that helps anything) & no one in my family has ever had cancer. Well actually one but that was my father's cousin (he had like colon cancer). I have my ultrasound this upcoming thursday and I'm scared to death because I don't want it to be breast cancer. Sometimes It hurts when I make certain movements. When Im sitting or standing I can feel it sometimes and other times when Im laying down(depending on the position) It doesn’t feel as big. After my Doctor's appointment my left shoulder started hurting (the lump is on my left breast) & It just feels sore and stuff. Right now it doesn't hurt as much anymore which is good for me. I think the lump has gotten bigger but I'm not sure if it did or if its my mind. My doctor thinks hopefully it might be Fibroadenoma because of my age. I'm still worried. What are the chances it might be cancer?? Am I overreacting? I know the chances of getting it at my age are slim but you know theres always a small chance. what should I expect at my ultrasound? Should I be worried? (btw I asked this already in another question but i just want more answers)

Im in 8th Grade, i will be starting highschool after summer in August :) . They already had tryouts but i didnt tryout because i didnt feel ready so im waiting till my sophmore year. I cant do my back handspring & im almost good with my Round-Off . I cheered before . should i go to an all stars gym ? & if i do go to an all star gym im gonna practice on my own at home too & gonna to cheer camp this summer . Tryouts are May 2013 , Will i have enough time ?
