  • "Soul Train"Song at Democratic Convention?

What's your opinion on playing "Soul Train" as a follow up song at the Democratic Nomination Convention? I thought it was stupid. Maybe Clinton's nomination should have proceeded with "The Brady Bunch" theme. ??!! There are so many beautiful patriotic songs out there - what was that all about?!

  • Laws Prohibiting Paparazzi Harassment?

Why are there not laws enforced prohibiting the paparazzi from harassment, putting celebs in danger (not to mention others) and stalking, as they do.

They shot and killed students at Kent State for peaceful protesting, yet they allow these people to continue to put people in harms way.

    Your opinion?

  • Only 10% of Americans vote!?

This was the latest voting statistics that I've heard. I don't know whether to believe it or not. I do know that we rank #34 of all countries that do vote. That's sad. It's no wonder that the USA has so many problems. If we really want to make our country an even better place to be - we all need to vote.

    Any comments?

  • Do you feel your deceased "hero's" are with you, looking after you?

I do. I have been lucky enough to been blessed with a few very special people in my lifetime. Although, these people are no longer here with me in "person", I do feel that they are with me in "spirit" every step of the way. What are your beliefs regarding this?

  • Who are the real racists - Imus? or the people who cry racist?

Because of three "words" a talented person losses his job of 40 years! I don't believe we let these things happen. There should be organizations to defend people from the NAACP and African American groups that continue to pull the race card. Who are the real racists?

Ever hear a black comedian and their words and thoughts of anyone not black? Ever listen to the lyrics of some of the rap music out there? It's foul and repulsive. Anyone making headlines about any of their "words"? There should be.

Enough is enough already. What makes these people complain about so much - so special? Where are the people we need to stop them from whining all the time?

Black people are not the only people in the world that have an injustice done to them, but they seem to be the only one's complaining all the time. Sorry, but it's true. Will it ever stop?

  • First, "No-Smoking Law" Passed, Now "No-Spanking Law" Being Put In Motion. What's Up With That

If we don't step up to the voting booths, these "select groups" of over zealous, self-obsorbed individuals will continue to push their opinions to the ballet - and win. Should things as these have anything to do with laws?? What's next?

  • Why Don't More Americans Vote?

Per population ratio and countries that vote to decide the leadership and structure of their countries, the United States ranks 179! What's up with that? Maybe if everyone got out and voted instead of just complaining about what is going on in the US, we could truly be a government "for the people, by the people".

  • Would The World Be A Better Place If Well Qualified Women RAN IT?

I really don't mean to offend men in general, but I can't help but look at all the havoc going on in the world, past and present, and not say that it has predominately been manifested by men.

Would women make this world a better place? I don't know, but it seems to be that the men aren't doing too good of a job.

Not to mention the affect of the almighty penis has played. Empires have fallen, presidents have scandaled themselves, clergymen have fallen from grace, pedophiles prey on our children and women. All because men can't control their zippers?

Would there be less war and more compassion for people in general? Would it be a safer more economically sound society in general?

Again, men, I am very aware of the wonderful men that are out there. Great ones and heroes. I mean to offend no one personally.

  • Should Ohio Have It's Own Casino's?

People from all over the state of Ohio drive to its surrounding states to spend their money on gaming. Shouldn't Ohio have its own Casinos?

Ohio's economy is one of the worst in the Nation. Jobs are few, convention centers and hotels are empty. Compared to many states, it could be one of the most beautiful places to house casino's.

  • Why Have We Not Seen Muslim's Rioting Over Muslim Extremists?

It's strange that a message from the Pope could provoke such anger and strong unity within the Muslim community; enough to riot in defense of their religion. Thousands lining the streets all over the world, appalled by his words. Words....

Yet, groups of radical extremists defacing the name of Muslim religious believes and culture are not revolted against? Why no riots against the extremists? How about peaceful marches declaring the Muslim religion as the loving faith that it is supposed to be?

  • I'm Tired Of Hearing About Katrina!?

Katrina was the worst hurricane in history that ever hit land in the United States. It was a terrible tragedy and will not be forgotten. But, enough already. A year has past. I am not looking lightly on this terrible act of nature, but why isn't acceptance of this disaster possible without continually pointing fingers, blaming sources and of course, drawing that race card.

Yes, enough. There were so many people who gave so much to help all in need - black or white. And, response - what kind of response was everyone waiting for? It was a disaster of unimaginable destruction. Who could possibly be prepared for such a thing? Yet, here we are still babbling on about who, why, how come, what could have been, white people, black people, rich and poor.

Peace and prayers to all the people and their families that suffered a loss in Katrina. Their pain is heartfelt.

Some things we just don't have control over - this was one.

  • Why are so many muslims living in the U.S. if they hate us?

So much anger and so much hate for our country, it's government, and everything we stand for. Why do they choose to live in our country?
