It doesn't even reconize there's a disc in it. Will a new DVD player play the old DVDs?

When I'm typing in a question a whole list of similar questions that have already been asked pops up. Why don't people get the answers from those instead of asking the same questions every day?

Their only function is to look attractive and get the crowd cheering at a sporting event - hence the name "cheerleaders." The competitions are nothing more than beauty contests to compare tricks they can do so why do they think it's a sport?

My bf and I own a Moduline double wide mobile home from 1973. Does anybody have any idea where we might find the original floor plans for the home? We're sure it has undergone some massive renovations and we'd like to see what it was originally like.

My stepson sends all his bulletins to everybody on his friends list, including me and his dad. Some of them I don't think we really should see. How do I delete the ones from him that I don't want to see?

He drove the deficit up higher than any President in history until that time. Before his administration you hadn't heard of homeless families since the depression. I lost count of how many times he nearly brought on a war with the USSR and goaded terrorists with his careless talk. Not to mention selling out our National Security with the Iran/Contra deal. He should have been impeached and he and most of his cabinet tried for treason. By the time George H.W. Bush was done this country was so far in debt it looked hopeless. Clinton may have been an immoral pig, but within six years there were plenty of jobs, healthy families, and a surplus in the budget. When he left office people had less fear of losing their jobs and homes and we were at peace. He knew how to take care of the citizens of this country instead of his big business cronies. I lived through these things and know they were true. I hate revisionist history.

I moved from Wisconsin to Washington three months ago. My future ex still has his permanent address in Wisconsin, but he has been working in California for two months and may be staying there. Where do I file for Divorce? We lived in Wisconsin for 10 years.

We were at the IKEA store in Seattle on Sunday looking at a table that is going on sale tomorrow. It had a formica type top with butcher block about a foot wide on one end and a vise in the butcher block. What would the vise be used for?

When my ex and I were first engaged he used the stone from a wedding ring set he'd bought for a former girlfriend to have a necklace made for me for a wedding present. Over the years he also bought me jewelry with my birthstone in it. I never wear that stuff because I never have the occasion to and I hardly wear jewelry. Would it be bad to use those stones to make my new wedding and engagement rings? At least they would get used and it would cut the cost of the new rings.

I also answered a few, but can't find them again to check out other answers. How come there aren't options for revisiting questions? Unless you know exactly how they are worded you can't even search for them.

I mean, who buys the ring? Do I buy my own? Do I buy him one - or something similar?
