Atheists, where does information come from?
Question inspired by this Deist video.
13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoAtheists. Does the Cambrian Explosion pose a problem for your views?
Watch this short video for a quick summary of the problem. However, the more you look at this problem the worse it get's for Darwin.

If you're interested in learning more about this problem these videos give more detail.
24 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoAtheists. Does the discovery of Dinosaur blood cells and soft tissue give you any pause?
Watch these very interesting videos I think you'll enjoy them.

As an Old Earth Creationist I've had to consider my position might be flawed. However, at least I can change my view on this subject. I suspect atheists are tapped in an old world view and will defend it no matter what.
24 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoAre there more Atheists than Believers in the Religion & Spirituality section?
This is a legit question. I just counted one post asking about Christianity and counted 18 Atheist replies to 4 Christian replies. Kind of funny that people that claim to be Atheists are so intensely spiritual at the same time. Or is this like finding people that hate pets in the pet section bashing dog and cat lovers? It doesn't make any sense.
So my real question is what is the psychology behind this phenomenon?
10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhy do Creationists laugh at Evolutionists?
I laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes after watching this.
Take a look "Fixing Lucy with a Power Saw". Too funny.
11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoAtheists. How did the first protein pull itself together?
Proteins are the building blocks required for life to exist. For a protein to exist you need a chain of left handed amino acids to chain together in specific order. If one is out of place it's not a protein. If you put exactly the amino acids you need together in one place you can rearrange them a TRILLION TIMES A SECOND FOR THE AGE OF THE EARTH and not come even close to using up all the incorrect chains. And if by some amazing luck you did form a protein chain you only have ONE protein. To get to the first mitosis capable cell is far more complex.
13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoAtheists. How did cell mitosis evolve?
Because without cell mitosis there is no reproduction and therefore no evolution. So exactly what are the steps leading up to cell mitosis?
11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhat are the advantages of Verticle Axis Wind Turbines (VAWTS) as opposed to standard wind turbines? ?
And what are the best VAWT designs? Any engineers out there that can add anything would be helpful. Thanks.
4 AnswersEngineering1 decade agoIf the universe in infinite, how long did it take to get to today?
Or did God create the universe and time began at that point?
16 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhat benefit to society does Gay Marriage provide?
Why create government incentives for having a homosexual lover? Gays don’t reproduce they only recruit, making the practice parasitic on the host culture. So why create government tax and other incentives for it?
Gays have always been free to have a celebration and call themselves married. So it’s not a matter of freedom to do. But adding government tax and other incentives for having a gay lover... why? How is it helpful to our culture?
10 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agoDoes “Gay Marriage” have any historical precedent?
For example, it doesn’t appear that the Romans wed homosexuals even though they fully embraced homosexuality. I assume it would have been allowed but no evidence I can see anybody was even interested. It appears “gay marriage” is merely a modern parody of marriage that never existed before. So what is it? Not sure.
1 AnswerOther - Cultures & Groups1 decade agoRon Paul took second place in Nevada. Is it still fair to call him a fringe candidate?
It appears Ron Paul will be among the final four Republicans. That after Fox News has attempted to discredit and silence him. I think America better wake up, the media is blatantly attempting to choose your president for you.
8 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoAtheists, do you accept that time had a beginning?
Because if infinity is behind us it is mathematically impossible to ever get to this point in time. Might sound silly at first but the math on that is actually very simple and the math doesn’t lie. Time must have a beginning point.
Think about it before you answer. Go ahead, draw your symbolic timeline backwards to infinity and do the addition to get to today.
29 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIf Ron Paul brings all the troops home will the world plunge into chaos?
Will the Russians invade Germany, North Korea invade South Korea and Osama Bin Laden become president of Iraq?
Or will it just be a nice day for our brave troops when they arrive home and the world will go on without our military in their backyard? And maybe we could have a parade in honor of their homecoming?
Which way would it go?
11 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoAre Ron Paul’s poll numbers deceptively small?
Here are the unknown factors I see. Most of the people that support Ron Paul didn’t vote in the last primary and were not polled. And a very large percentage of his supporters have never voted before. If they are willing to stand by the freeway with Ron Paul signs what are the chances they will make a surprise showing when it comes time to vote in the primary?
17 AnswersElections1 decade agoCan we just assume that a Grand Piano exists due to Intelligent Design?
Do we even need to consult science to come to this conclusion? Wouldn’t it be absurd to hypothesize it appeared out in the woods due to trees falling, lightening and erosion?
And if it is absurd to assume the Piano came about by random processes isn’t even more absurd to assume human beings did? Absurd, silly, strange, illogical, meaningless and bizarre!
I’m just so tired of the debate regarding Intelligent Design being treated as science. Of course we could study if life has evidence of design just like we could study if the piano has evidence of design. To say otherwise is just openly dishonest.
However, the design in life is so clearly obvious why bother with ID? Everyone can see this just as clearly as the Piano.

37 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoBig Bang Paradox? Can someone help with this one?
When we look out into space with the Hubble telescope we are supposedly seeing the formation of the universe. This due to the great distance the light needs to travel and the millions of years it takes to get here…
However, if everything started with the Big Bang then all matter in the universe was all in one location and expanded apart from there at less than the speed of light.
So how is the light getting behind by millions of years when the two objects traveling at slower the then speed of light started in the same location? Or I could say, how could the light get millions of years behind the movement of the slower objects?
For example, if you and I stood in the same location and began to move apart. How would we ever be able to see the moment we stood together again just by moving apart? How could we ever see the past by doing this?
16 AnswersAstronomy & Space1 decade agoWhy won't Yahoo answers let me enter a link to the Ron Paul website?
After all this is the elections politics section now isn't it? If I enter the link I get an error message. Take it out and everything works fine. Does Yahoo not like Ron Paul?
9 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoIs it true there is no scientific evidence for creation?
I’ve noticed atheists will always blurt out “there is no scientific evidence for creation.” However, there are hundreds if not thousands of scientific publications generated by real scientists with real degrees in science including many with doctorate degrees in science.
What is the basis to claim "there is no evidence" other than stubborn ignorance?
