I am interested in leaving the USA eventually and want to know where other people have traveled and what places, besides their current homes (which most people love), have captured their hearts enough to want to live there for the rest of their lives (or at least a long time...).

I'm not looking for a one-liner, so please let me know what you loved about the place and why you think it would make a good place to live. I'd really appreciate it!

I got a fix-it ticket and I procrastinated. I need to mount my front licence plate on a 98 Volvo with no mounting holes drilled. Does anyone know how I can either get holes drilled (or do it myself with some guidance) for not a lot of $$?? I need to do it before Wednesday... (FYI- I live in the SF bay area, specifically walnut creek if this helps anyone who is local)

I will be traveling to the Rimini area next fall and I will need to rent a place to stay for about a year. I can't seem to find anything but real estate for sale (I can't afford to buy a house!) on the internet. I would like to rent a room in a house or share an apartment, but I can't find out how much this will cost for budgeting purposes. Any suggestions? Anyone know someone who lives there?

I am interested in a Hindu guy and I know that some religions are very strict about sex. Are there any common beliefs about sexuality? Is anything considered taboo? I realize things are not always the same for everyone, just looking for an idea of what to expect if we date...

What are the dating customs like in Italy? Is it typical for men to ask the lady out? does it matter? do you go dutch, or is it typical for the man to pay? any tips?
