Can you help solve this internet problem please?
When I try to get on the internet, a message comes up from microsoft windows: 'internet explorer has stopped working. A problem caused it to stop.' The internet is then blocked. What, apart from malware, could be the problem?
Can an outdated soundcard be a factor too?
6 AnswersOther - Internet1 decade agoWas Yesu (Jesus) really superstitious, or was he a philospher and reincarnationist?
I am reading 'Burden of Truth' and what I am learning about this man, including his doctrine is totally incompatible to what modern Christians claim. In fact, Christianity should not be a religion (superstition) because that is paganism. He claimed that people reincarnate to evolve, through karma, to higher states, or regress into darkness. This is just the tip of the ice-berg. There are so many things he is against that modern Christians are for. It would be nice if everyone would read it. It exposes so many lies. I bought this book at www.i-proclaimbookstore.com/burdenoftruth.html. Here is what Jesus thinks about 'Truth':
While the Holy Twelve reasoned in the circle, Thomas asked another disciple, “What is Truth? For the same things appear different to different minds and even to the same mind at different times. What then is truth?”
Then, like a ghost, the crucified saviour appeared in their midst and said, “Truth, one and absolute, is in God alone, for no man, neither any body of men know that which God alone knows, who is in the All in All. To man, Truth is revealed according to his capacity to receive it. The One Truth has many sides. One man sees one side only, another sees another side, and some see more than others, according to how it is given to them to see.”
“Look at this crystal, how the one light manifests in twelve faces. Yes, four times twelve, but each face reflects the same one ray of light. One may regard one face, and another the other, but it is the one crystal and one ray of light shining in all its faces.”
“Again observe when one climbs a mountain. On reaching one height he thinks, ‘this is the top of the mountain, let us get to it’. When they climb that height they see another beyond it. They climb until they reach the ultimate height, if they can attain it.”
4 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoDo you know that Jesus (Yesu) was an advocate of reincarnation and astrology?
You can find all the information on the web. Just search for the essen book of wisdom or the Essen story on the web and read about Jesus to your heart's content. You may end up throwing away the New Testament Bible you have. Also, these information is said to be found in the secret archives of the Vatican - hidden from people while the 'chumped up stories' are being read.

5 AnswersBooks & Authors1 decade agoWhy is it wrong to question God? Is he not qualified to answer?
Please, no offence meant here, but I am just thinking...Although (I know) I should not trust my own understanding. It seems so 'restrictive' when you simply want to reason critically to come to an educated conclusion. I have some Jehovah Witnesses coming over telling me stuff, but not wanting me to ask certain questions.

AIR BALLOON
When you came
We heard your enticing oration
The most mellifluous voice
Sweet charm and elocution
You pronounced fine words
In noble aristocratic vein
That now it is hard to believe
You are causing us such pain
You made us leave in your hands
Every possible need for prowess
And now after all this time
Where is the promised success?
We are stunned to see you stumped
Shocked to hear you stutter
Peeved to think you doodle around
When we really need our answer
The captain is drunk
The ship takes a stagger
How are we to keep afloat
Upon the doggone water?
You were the imposter
A ‘want-to-be’ buffoon
The substance that fills your head
Is what fills an air balloon
1 AnswerPoetry1 decade agoComment on this poem please?
It is called Your Instrument. Do you like it? Any suggestions?
YOUR INSTRUMENT
I am your new guitar
My strings are taught and set
Play me
For your majesty’s piano
I can croon to the sound
Of your finger upon my skin
Play me
Let me wail like a cabaret singer
I have a beat of subject masculinity
Designed for a woman only
Play me
To your nimble heart’s content
Let me please beg you
I have a sweet request for more
Play me
I am your instrument
2 AnswersPoetry1 decade agoPlease, what do you think of this poem?
It is called 'Talk to the hand'
TALK TO THE HAND
Now that she is telling you
Talk to the hand
You realize your head
Was buried in the sand
Among all the things
You thought you were above
Was the simple duty
Of showing her love
Trample on that stupid ego
Sing a crying song
Kiss her picture
Now that she is gone
1 AnswerPoetry1 decade agoWhat do you think about this new poem, please?
This poem is just my perception of 'unspoken contradictions' in our human everyday existence. What do you think?
THE UNTHINKABLE
How could it be me
Walking in the rain
Feeling a heart of pain
Bowing my head in shame
How could this be me?
Could I be
The aged old boozer
Serial looser
Couldn’t be the chooser?
How could it be me
Rascal and culprit
Dirty stinking hypocrite
Wading in (it)
Deeper than a pit
How could this be me
Could I be
The unforgotten child
Never learnt to smile
Chased a thousand miles
Hungry all the while?
Rain has come again
That pounds my window pane
And falls upon the brain
Of somebody else
And they cry for help
From behind the fence
But it wasn’t me
Could I be
Simply Mr. lucky
Or am I the plucky
Better than the rest
Who deserves the best?
2 AnswersPoetry1 decade agoPlease, tell me what you think about this poem?
It is a poem that just came to me as I thought about how mystical and magical my concept of womanhood appears to me. Maybe it is a tribute to women or womanhood... I am not even sure. What do you think about it?
THE SWEET SONG OF VENUS
I watch you
I listen to your heart
I hear you speak
What music is this?
Do you sing to me
A symphony of unknown tongue
Or is it that illusive song of Venus?
Venus whispers of silence
Celestial songs of sweet torment
To the blistering pace
Of chasing heart beats
In thrilling pita pâté
Pita pâté
Pita pâté
Blissful agonies of soft sounds
Venus songs speak
Beautiful words without lyrics
Like temptation in my head
Hot blood charging my veins
Eyes of mystery piercing my body
Like a twin universe of divine secrets
She walks through gaits of Venus
Touching me by essence without reason
And sentimental unrealistic truth
The body of Venus is passion
It joys in the rapture of mortal flesh
Every mystery of love
Hails from a woman’s breast
And there is no secret
Greater than the magic of a kiss
From Venus
Through the vessel of her lips
And thoughts that speak to body
Rather than mind
Walk you virtuous feminine soul
And Venus dances
Indulge me with her smile
And I will be a child forever
Bedevil my hungry soul
By the conquering art of woman-hood
As you step like Venus steps
Talk like Venus talks
In shapes and languages
Of feline wisdom
That by every man in me
I surrender
Woman is stronger
The world belongs to Venus
6 AnswersPoetry1 decade agoIs it possible for someone to not be able to feel sadness? ?
Imagine someone who is mostly happy, sometimes just calm, but never really sad. The only emotion that makes him cry is for tears of joy or bliss. Imagine also that this person, in his early years experienced sadness before, and even underwent traumatizing situations. Would you think that this is some kind of defense mechanism...or is it a kind of 'mortal life' evolution?
5 AnswersPsychology1 decade agoDo you think something is wrong with a person who doesn't know how to worry or fear?
This person is quite normal otherwise. It is just at times when 'incidents' occur that people tend to figure that he doesn't care or something. He is loving, considerate, Intelligent and indulgent...until someone strikes a panic button over something and he doesn't join the screaming and the worry.
If one is practical about life and death, not feeling threatened by anything, what does that have to do with having a death wish? We have a serious debate going in my house. Will you help us with it? Oh, and not 'threatened or worried by anything' can mean like when loved ones die, and when he is attacked by three men with a gun...like " Make sure you don't miss me...because one of you is going to get ****** up!"
4 AnswersPsychology1 decade agoDo you think that there is a lack of integrity on the internet?
I am getting the impression that too many people are simply out to scam and deliver a raw deal. Will we ever be able to get to a higher level on the inter net?
8 AnswersSociology1 decade agoGirls, what are the chances of a wife carrying out this threat?
I keep telling my friend not to worry that his wife keep threatening him that she is going to 'Bobbit' him in his sleep. He tells me that I don't know her, saying she is 'a very crazy woman'. Someow I kind of feel edgy about the situation since I told him not to take her seriously. Supose it happens? I mean what are the chances? Some guy tried to steal her purse one time and she disarmed him and chased him with his own knife. We could not even contain her when she was determined to 'damage' him. What you think?
8 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoPlease, tell me what you think of my poem?
COLD KISS
She kissed me
Void of all reverence
To that which she received
From the castle of my soul;
Her eyes were opened
Watching the way I believed
And her lips were ice cold
I kissed her
By lips of sacrilege
Vilifying my conscience
And counting the cost;
My eyes were opened
Watching the way she lied
And I felt the frost
We kissed
Upon stifled emotions
My love doubled for two
And her integrity died;
Our eyes were opened
Looking at truth
And I had to cry
3 AnswersPoetry1 decade agoDid you understand the Jamaican 'body language' in Beijing? ?
This question is not for Jamaicans. It is very interesting that the rest of the world only saw them dancing and celebrating, but they were actually 'talking' to their fans. For example, when Bolt won the one hundred he did the first dance - "No linger." He actually meant that he was just there to do the job and go home. He made a sign and a gesture and said so many things that few people understood. It is like ancient Israel again. Intereresting. After the 4x100 Asafa's moves meant, "please excuse yourself (tek weh yuself) we are now in charge." BOLT "I am lightning bolt - number one! To the world!", that he signalled before he ran the 200.
1 AnswerLanguages1 decade agoHere is another poem, "That Beat Without Sound". Feedback Please?
That beat has no sound but it is music
That song is the devil’s own mischief
That deafening symphony of silence
To the future from the past in its presence
That beat to the rhythm of my lonesome
That song that tells me my old joy is done
That music of life that never changes
To the tune of the things that it erases
That beat without sound reverberating
That tune with the universe dancing
That sound breaking us up in pieces
To the world made of relics and traces
That beat without sound that remains the same
That song where the best things never remain
That chorus that changes and love is gone
2 AnswersPoetry1 decade agoWhat do you think of this poem "Pebbles in the Sea"?
Sitting upon a boulder
On the sand of the seashore
Watching waves come closer
Everyone followed by a million more
Every foam a thought perpetuated
Each splash brings a new concept ashore
And the former ones out-dated
So I think my thoughts to perpetual motion
Sitting at the entrance to the ocean
Perched upon a rock
Throwing pebbles in the sea
Creating a boomerang action
Every ripple happening all because of me
My input to the cycles of creation
So I cast off the lot
Of pebbles I got
And saw nature’s spells and reactions
Taking my time to forget the clock
And tune to the motion of the ocean
2 AnswersPoetry1 decade agoPlease give feedback on my poem "Tomorrow Will Come"?
No matter what happens in a given day
No one joins the fallen where they lay
Misty of morning Dawn will say
Tomorrow will come upon us anyway
If you’re not prepared then be it known
Your worst tests are never cancelled or postponed
And to seek universal conscience
Is vain conjecture of man and mortal sense
If you go down and cannot rise
Time will not wait by your side
Justice is not a divine life condition
Sentimental of this earth’s dimension
Saying you have no wings to fly
Will not stop the eagles passing by
And waking up on your sad morning
Will not hinder birds from singing
Should the joys of life be far from you
Still heaven is lit and the skies are blue
Just listen to the old man’s clock on the wall
It never misses a tick at all
The universe will not pass judgment
And lightning might strike the innocent
Our fantasies about true morality
Is crafted by a wisdom christened in vanity
Our future fears and ideal reality
Are not assigned to some agent of mercy
We have to put down our feet
And take the bitter with the sweet
Rise to the task of a dragon to slay
Be exceeding brave and face any day
For it matters not what we do or say
Tomorrow will come upon us anyway
