  • ford ranger cutting off when driving--help please?

I have a 2001 ford ranger... today it cut off on me as i was getting on the interstate. everything was fine, then it just wouldn't accelerate. the "check engine" light came on, as did the little rectangle symbol with a plus and minus sign on it, but it was only on briefly. so, i pulled to the side of the road and turned off the truck and it cranked right back up. i was then able to go on home... there was a small rattle in the front for about 3-5 seconds, then it stopped and did it again, but was completely fine for the rest of the way home. like i said, it drove normal from there on out....but what is going on? what could be the problem? thanks so much

  • teacher making rude comments about disabled people?

i am in high school, and i have this teacher who is very political. we were talking about the results of the election in class last week, and he said that he thinks that disabled people shouldnt be allowed to vote. i mean, not just mentally challenged people, but people with severed limbs and physical deformities. a girl in my class got real upset because her mom only has 1 arm from some sort of accident and he told her that she needed to keep her opinions to herself, that disabled people are a hindrance to society. a few of us took this issue to the principal, but she just thinks we are trying to get the teacher in trouble...what should we do?

  • cat food sandwich at work...now boss is sick?

at the place where i work, we have a big problem with people taking your lunch. even if you write your name on the bag or whatever, people assume anything in the fridge is fair game. well, to be honest, i got really tired of going to get my lunch and it not being there, and having to go out and buy a lunch...it gets expensive after a while. so, thursday i brought a "tuna" sandwich made from cat food. i put it in the fridge and when i went to check on it, it was gone. then, later that afternoon, my boss got sick at work and had to go home. he was not there friday either. do you think this is anything to worry about? what if someone knows it was my sandwich? i mean after all, no one had any business taking my food, but my boss is really sick. what should i do?

i am (well should be) a senior in college. i go to a college that is a 10 hour drive from my parents' home. they have only visited me here like 5 times since i have been in college. well, long story short, last semester i got involved in online gambling. i won a good bit of money at first, but then i started losing big time. well, when my parents sent me the money to pay for this semester, i took the money and gambled it away online. i felt sure i could win with it, but i lost it all. so, my parents are under the impression that i am in college...and the semester is about to end. now, the parents want to come see me for the holidays. what can i do to get out of this situation? help please!!!

  • was this wrong to do to parents--SAT ?

i am in my junior year of high school and my parents have been on my case about EVERYTHING. they constantly breathe down my neck about school and college and are pushing me to be a doctor, even though i hate this thought. well, i went and took the SAT a couple months ago and we had a big blowup that morning. well, long story short, i purposely blew the SAT and ended up getting a 420 even though i am a straight A student and set to be an honor graduate. well, the parents freaked out. so, i started to think about the potential trouble i would be in if they found out that i did it on purpose. so, i told them that i have been having terrible headaches and debilitating pains intermittently in my legs and arms. also, blurred vision and that i sometimes have trouble forming sentences. they are completely freaked out and made me an appointment with a neurologist for tomorrow. what should i do? should i go with it and risk the doctor not finding anything wrong? i am in deep now...help please!

  • what to do about neighbor whipping horses?

i have owned horses my whole life and have never believed in using a whip on them except very sparingly. however, my neighbor recently bought 2 horses and claims he "knows all about them." they have never owned horses ever since they have lived next to us that i know of. well, he is trying to break and train them himself to "save money." he is whipping them so much i can hear them whinnying all throughout the day. i went over today to see how it was going, and one of the horses had bloody lesions from being whipped so much. he blew it off saying that it was the "cowboy way" of training and that he saw clinton anderson do it on RFDTV. is there any sense at all to this? what do i do?
