  • my 1 1/2yr old son is a picky eater!!!?

He got his teeth late- only about 3 months ago and will only eat grilled cheese, mac and cheese, fruits and yogurt. He hates all veggies, meat, potatoes/rice/beans, he won't even eat cherrios. Some days he will eat pasta with spag. sauce. I have introduced and reintroduced a zillion times and he will not try anything new. I have tried mixing veggies in his mac and cheese andhe picks them out, if I mash them in he won't eat it at all. What to do?

  • cell phone question?

OK- so I called my hairdresser's cell phone to schedule an appt. and instead of hearing the "ring" of the phone it was the voice of a butler saying something like "good evening. Master will be with you in a moment. He assures me that your call is very important" .........you get the idea. Anyway-I loved it and was wondering if anyone could tell me where/how to get this for my phone? I use ATT/Cingular. Oh, I am also not very good at this kind of stuff so please be as clear as possible. Thank you!

  • suggestions for toys for a 13month old climber?

My 13month old son loves to climb and is very (and I mean VERY) active. No toys hold his interest long and I am wondering if any of you parents have found anything good for entertaining baby at this age? Do they sell any safe playsets that he can climb for indoor use? He is not walking yet but is close. Thanks!

  • 11 1/2 month old Hates solids! Help!?

my almost 1yr old hates eating. It is a struggle to even get him in his highchair. He throws a fit for every meal. I always put a few cheerios on the tray to pacify him and he will eat a few of those but anything I try to give him he refuses. He will sometimes eat a baby yogurt but the most he will eat is like 1/4 to 1/2 of a small stage 2 food (ususally fruit) and he screams and shakes his head for anything else. He has no teeth yet (is that normal?) He won't drink water or juice, just formula which I do not offer him at meals. I am at my witts end- What do I do? I dread mealtimes with this kid, and I feel horrible that I am putting him through this!

  • shea butter?

I am looking for a super thick creamy lotion and am currently using Time and Again by Ganz and like it alot- I used it during my pregnancy and had no stretch marks (yeah!) but it is more of a body butter with a mixture of shea butter, cocco butter etc. Is pure shea butter that much better than the body butters? Explain and which brand is the best and where to buy? Thanks and happy 4th!

  • loss of goods during move?

I recently used North American Van lines for a move- they broke a queen sleigh bed frame and my Gucci purse has vanished...I had a 250 deductable. They just sent me a check for 200 to settle my claim. Are they joking? The purse alone is worth 1000! Mind you I spent 17,000 on the move and it did NOT go smoothly. I am waiting for the claims adjuster to call me back. What are my legal rights? How do I go about asking to be reimbursed fairly? I want to go off on this lady but doubt that would get me anywhere. HELP!

  • 9 month old with pubic hair?

My 9 month old is being referred to an endocrenologist because his pediatrition thinks he has too much hair in his pubic area. It started out as just the baby fuzzy hair stuff that I thought would go away as he got older but it has gotten darker and more noticable. Has anyone experienced this with their kids? What causes it? The ped. did not give me any insight and seemed to avoid answering my questions. Serious answers only please. This is my only child and I am concerned about his health- I don't need anyone making fun of this. Thanks

  • Triplets biting each other?

my nephews just turned 1. They are biting eachother to the point of leaving bruises and breaking the skin. They do it out of aggression. (if one has a toy the other one wants etc) what is the best way to deal with 1yr old multiples biting eachother? Are they too young for a time out? (I don't know if they would understand it) My sister in law tried the "biting back" bit (I know people are torn on that method) to no avail. They just laugh at her. Help!

  • Enfamil vs Target brand?

I just bought Target brand powder formula as it compares exactly to Enfamil Lipil. I mean EXACTLY. I was so pumped about the price difference- Enfamil is 23 dollars and Target was only 11 and some change. BUT...when I opened the target one the color was darker and the consistancy was different than the enfamil. Is it really the same or did I just buy junk for my baby? Thoughts?

  • baby weight?

I was in great shape pre-pregnancy, had a rough 9 months and was unable to exercise due to health issues. My son is now almost 9 mo. old and I need to get back in the gym. I have 10 lbs to lose and need to tone up. Anyone know approx. how long it takes to get back to where I started? I feel like a fat cow! My diet is ok...the last 10 lbs are just hanging on and I lost all my muscle tone (sigh)

  • Clingy 9 month old?

My brother has 9 month old triplet boys. One of them is starting to be very clingy...following my sister in law into every room and crying unless he is being held. He crawls around the house following her and pulls himself up by her pantlegs. She doesn't know how to stop this behavior- its like seperation anxiety if she leaves the room. It wouldn't be so bad but she has the other two to contend with also...advice?
