Do you think Carol Burnett ruined her career with the "Family Guy" lawsuit?
How do you think this will influence the opinion of future generations? Carol was, and always will be, my favorite comedienne, and I would hate for her to be remembered for one lawsuit.
5 AnswersCelebrities1 decade agoWhat do mortgage lenders look for when reviewing loan modifications?
I recently applied for homeowners' assistance with my mortgagor, and am currently in the foreclosure process. I'm not sure if I'm going to get the loan mod or not. What do banks look for when a homeowner applies for loan modification? I realize that lender practices vary; I'm just looking for general guidelines, because I don't want to lose my home.
3 AnswersRenting & Real Estate1 decade agoI'm afraid my father's going to disown me. How do I make amends?
He co-signed my mortgage 4 years ago, and now I'm in the foreclosure process, but have applied to get help from my lender. On top of all that, I inherited 10K from my grandmother after she died--and I spent it all. He's not happy that I did this, and wants to talk to me this weekend. How do I repair my relationship with him? Can I save it?
4 AnswersFamily1 decade agoI need help making my bread dough rise!?
Last week I tried to make bread according to a recipe I found in the book How to Cook Everything. The recipe had you mixing all the dry ingredients, including the yeast, in a food processor, then slowly adding the wet ingredients. Then you were supposed to knead the dough and let it rise--well, rise it didn't. And it was a pretty warm day, too--85 degrees at room temperature. Does anyone have any suggestions?
12 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoShould I contact my second grade teacher?
She was the teacher who had the biggest impact on my life and career. I just tracked her down, but I haven't spoken to her in years, and she has long since retired. I'm afraid that, if I mail her a letter, she'll think I was stalking her. I just want to tell her what I've been up to and how I've turned out. She and my mother were good friends when we were in elementary school. I'm so nervous, though, about what her response would be. Please advise. Thanks!
