Would a major candidate stating that if he/she became President of the United States, that he/she would seek to press criminal charges against the current President, and his administration, make you more or less likely to vote for him/her?

All I remember is that it seemed to take place in a barn, or shed, and that a lot of water was splashed on people. I also think there was melting ice, but I could be wrong. It was a band with a nice horn section.

I really loved the song, and cannot for the life of me remember the group, or the song title.

I have several friends who are very religious. They are invariably unable to admit when their 'religion' fails to coincide with their Holy Text. One friend went so far as to say 'when you attack the church, you attack me.' Isn't that putting the Church at the top of the heap, instead of God?

Isn't modern religion in violation of the Gods commandment not to worship other Gods before him?

Honestly, these people take the Churches side against the Word of God, every single time.

And it seems to be true of almost every religious person I know.

What ever happened to "where ever two people meet in my name..."? No mention of big expensive buildings, and people who hold the Great E Ticket in the sky.

Isn't it supposed to be a series of Personal Relationships with the Lord? Isn't Religion a blaspheme from word one?

Please help me understand...

There seems to be an unlikely number of really good hands. I see four of a kind almost every day, and I only play for an hour tops. One day I got pocket aces four times; one time everyone folded, but each of the other three times, I was sucked out on the river with a flush. In fact, I've seen pocket aces (my own, and other peoples) lose over 90% of the time.

So I'm just curious, does anyone else think that the game has been 'revved up' to make it more interesting, or some such?

Face it folks, the only reason species like cows and chickens exist is as food. Most people would agree that any life is no life at all, and most of the cows I've seen had a bucolic lucidity about them. These guys would rather see these species cease to exist, then that we eat them? Doesn't that make the philosophy of vegetarianism genocidal?

That would explain why Hitler was a vegetarian I guess...

So I ask you once again, why do vegetarians hate animals?

I have a few odd ideas about physics, questions on the nature of space, time, space/time, dark matter, etc. Is there a place on line where educated people are willing to discuss this kind of nuttiness with a layman?
