I inherited my dad's truck after he died. Its a 1993 Ford with 250,000 miles. Its pretty much broke down. I'm wanting to sell it. I'm told to get the title transferred into my name, I have to contact the bank who originally financed it and get proof its no longer under a loan agreement.

The truck has been paid off for at least 15 years. The bank that carried the loan has been bought out and changed names at least twice. They have no record, according to who I contacted, about the old loan.

I'm stuck now and don't know what to do. I can't sell the truck until I get it in my name. And I have a buyer who may not be there long. Kinda in a hurry.

What happened to the White Stripes? I read somewhere Meg had to go to rehab over drugs. Is that why they stopped making music? Or is it something else I heard, that Jack is wanting to move on since he sees White Stripes as stagnant, and limited over Meg's drumming skills.

I mean, granted I don't have a record player and listen to music on cd's. Do you have to buy a certain type of record player to listen to these records? Why would you want too? Do they sound better? Is it the nostalgia?

Almost all the record stores are selling these records. But I don't get it. There must be a market, or they wouldn't sell. Who the heck is buying them and why?

I need some basic cooking information.

Is it best to wrap the roast in tin foil or not? If so, what is best to use in prepping the meat? I'm only looking for basics here. Such as salt and pepper if that, and if any oils to keep it from burning - defiinitely nothing fancy. Is it best to cook it for 10 minutes at 475, then 300 for about 20 min. or is there better temperature suggestions.

Also, I just bought a meat thermometer, and learned to stick it into the deepest portions of the meat, and that probably the meat would heat up to 5-10 degrees more after I pull it out of the oven. Any more hints here.

How can a person get a refinance loan in bankruptcy? The car is in the shop and a new motor was installed. The fee owed is $3,500. The car is fixed now and just waiting at the shop.

The car is a Toyota Celica GT, and has a blue book value of a little over $4,000.

Since bankruptcy is in the picture, no bank will finance a loan.

I know there are quite a few details left out, but suggestions would be appreciated.
