I've treid recording a macro that will create a line graph, create a trendline and disply it's equation on the graph...but I can't seem to extract that equation and place it in a cell. I've tried copying the text of the equation and pasting it on a cell (as part of the macro), but everytime I run it, it does not paste the equation on the cell. Is there anyone who can help me with this? Thanks.

I'm talking about third-world countries here: widespread poverty, low GNP, weak industrial/manufacturing sector, etc.

With the same amount of money to invest in a nuclear (fission)powerplant, could it be spent on renewable energy (solar, wind, etc.) AND produce the same output? I do not have a concrete stand on nuclear energy simply because I want to look at it (and its alternatives) objectively...and I need more info. Obviously nuclear fission is less desirable in terms of safety and on envirnonmental protection, but does that really outweigh it's ECONOMIC value? I've always believe that people come first and if nuclear energy can help improve the economy of developing nations (and thus, in a way, poverty) then I'm all for it. Plus I know that solar energy is one of the most EXPENSIVE forms of energy in terms of output vs cost (you spend so much for so little output) so it may be unwise and impractical for poorer countries to invest in it. What are your thoughts?

I've read and answered a lot of questions about religion and atheism here on Yahoo answers and I've noticed a trend: most (not all) of the atheist answers have a sense of bitterness and even anger in them. How do you sort numerical values (i.e. 1.5, 2.3, 7.6, 4.2, 3.1) WITHOUT using the automatic sorting ascending/descending functions of Excel? Everytime I protect a worksheet wherein some columns or row are grouped (using the Group function under the Data menu), I cannot press the little "-" or "+" button that expands/collapses the grouped columns/rows. Is there a way I can expend or collapse a column or row in a protected worksheet?

I am aware that Excel worksheet protection is weak and can be easily bypassed with free software. I've heard that it is possible to add an extra layer of protection by using Macros. I don't know how to use Macros and I am not good at programming (I don't understand VBA). Can anyone give me simple step-by-step instructions on how to protect my worksheet using Macros (or any method other than Excel's built-in worksheet protection)? Thank you. Objective: I want to give my Excel worksheets protection that will be very difficult for anyone to break.
