While pulling the A/C compressor pulley off my vehicle, I used a puller and thought I had clearance to protect the compressor shaft. While using the puller, I felt a pop, and discovered that I was actually using the compressor shaft as leverage to remove the pulley. It pushed in about 1/8". Afterwards, the shaft became very difficult to turn. I can turn it with a socket, but that is it. Is the compressor shot now or is there a way to correct my error?

My wife heard a loud pop in the garage this morning. She went out there and saw the mess on the cars and garage floor. The antifreeze bottle, which was on a ceiling storage grate was dripping all over the place. The bottle looked like it had expanded considerably and then just popped at its weakest point.

This was purchased from a Jeep dealer just a few months ago, it's the pre-mixed version and nothing has been added to it. The outside temperature is 30 degrees and garage temperature was around 40 degrees.

I've never heard of an antifreeze bottle exploding and was curious why this happened? I have a huge mess and now need to wash the cars and buy another bottle of antifreeze.

I have never been able to print coupons from Target's website, due to the fact that they only accept old versions of Safari. I've downloaded Firefox, with the hopes of that browser working, but still no luck.

What have you been using to print these? I'm hoping that something works here. I'm very surprised that Target doesn't support Mac, as millions of us use them and shop at Target.

My child is a sixth-grade student. One of his teachers only gives 1/2 credit for assignments that are turned in late. My child was not aware of this until he received a bunch of assignments back that he would have had 100% on, but only earned 50% as he was about a day late on most of these. Is there any standard for late assignments in middle school?

My sister is being verbally and mentally abused by her husband. This is done in front of their young children (ages 1 & 3). I don't need to bore you with details, but today, he told her that he "hates her so much that he could just stab her right now" (the children were present). She is subject to constant abuse and she wants to get away from him.

She works and makes a considerable income. He stays at home and takes care of the kids, as he could not hold a job for long periods of time. He refuses to work and states that he "doesn't want to lose his leverage should they divorce". He expects to stay at the same home while she supports him and the kids.

I'm honesty concerned for her after the "stab" comment today. What can she legally do to protect herself from this guy?

I am constantly receiving these annoying pop-up surveys on Yahoo! Mail. It doesn't allow you to take the survey and they keep popping up. I've contacted Yahoo! repeatedly, with no answer.

I have used my pop-up blocker and everything is up-to-date. I'm on a new iMac, using Safari as my web browser. I don't have problems anywhere else, just on Yahoo!

Please help! I'm getting so sick of this! I feel like I'm on a pc every time that I check my email.

Years ago, we had toilets that could flush without clogging. Someone in congress felt it was necessary to limit the amount of water that was used per flush, so without consulting plumbers, they took it upon themselves to place that water limit on all new toilets in the US. Now, not to be too personal, I have to flush the toilet three to four times each time I do my business, whereas I would only flush once years ago.

Hopefully, they are still the same in Canada. If so, it would be worth the trip up there to pick a couple of them up for our new house.

My son plays for a coach who is unfair to various kids regarding play time. This is fifth-grade basketball and his son plays every minute of every game. His son makes about 5% of his shots (yes, only 5%). In addition, his kid has a bad attitude and is always hitting things or throwing tantrums. He does nothing to control his son. Most of the other kids on the team listen well and have some natural ability, but again, they are only in fifth-grade.

None of the kids are superstars, but they all deserve a chance to develop and have a fair chance to play. I would appreciate any suggestions in dealing with this guy. Perhaps one of you have dealt with the same type of person and have a good suggestion for me.
