  • Played Paintball, Wanna Try Airsoft?

Hey everyone, i was just wondering, i'm already 22 years old, been playing paintball since the age of 15, liking it a lot, not fond of hoppers, which is why i went to pick up my first magfed marker about 3 years ago (T9.1), sold it and am now an owner of a brand new Milsig. so i was wondering which game you guys preferred. do you guys like paintball more or airsoft? (PLEASE STATE YOUR REASON!!!! it's hard enough having to read through the "Herp Derp ____ is Better Than _____")

i just want to know, what do you people like about one hobby more than the other? and also should i try airsoft or just stick to Magfed Paintball? i know they're both very similar, but i just wanna know if i should give airsoft a try seeing that the projectiles is extremely cheap, but it takes forever to disassemble an airsoft rifle (unless it's an ICS M4) than it is with my Milsig Elite (i don't mind if it takes me about half an hour to disassemble, lube, and reassemble just as long as the disassembly is just straight forward and doesn't take a mechanic to take everything apart)

So what do you people think? should i give it a try at my field (they just recently opened an airsoft dedicated field in my area) or jsut stick to playing magfed at my local fields?

  • Loyalty troubles at work? How are your experiences?

Hello everyone, my name is Fleece, and i was just curious on your experiences with your loyalty to a company or employee you work for. was it good? was it bad? just curious because i've just had an incident with a company i was working for for the past year, everyday i get nothing but trouble from other coworkers, my assistant manager hates my guts (that's not the bad part, the bad part is the fact that she hates me so much, she doesn't even give me much hours to work), the owner is a pr*ck and doesn't do anything about it because the assistant manager that hates me is her husband....

i get nothing but complaints from her, and you know what? despite everything going on, i still haven't made one complaint about her work ethics, how she treats me, and just how bad of a job she does in general trying to pretend to be a "good" manager when honestly, she does sh*t....

whenever i get called in for work, i come in an extra hour early, say hi to everyone, and then start my work when my time starts. i put 150% into work because i work hard and i want to impress my managers by showing them i am capable of doing my job. but each and every time i get to work, i'm always put into doing janitorial work (cleaning the lobby, washrooms, pretty just what a janitor would be paid to do), except it's worse, when i was interviewed for the job, i was hired for my "customer service" course, and now a year has past, and i have YET to show off what i am capable of. it's just stressing me out, you know?

I've always been told to be loyal and never give up even through tough times, i have done so, and have yet to be greatly rewarded..... so is it just me? or is being loyal to a job just some random bullsh*t being made for people to stay at their jobs? i don't see a use out of it other than to show people on my resume that i worked there and didn't quit the first few weeks. even if i did have it on my resume, what am i going to tell the next manager that puts me into a cashier position? "what, i wasn't taught how to use a cash register".

anyways, i just want to hear your stories, how you felt being loyal was, and what you did to get to where you are at now. thank you for reading, i hope to read some of your stories (10 points goes to the person with a great story)

  • Bf3 Premium vs Bf4 "premium"?

i've been a bf3 player since the first month it was released, paid a full $70 for my copy (new), been playing for about a year, and somehow... when premium comes out, i feel like i've been ripped off. BF is a good game and all, but i really wish there was a discount on the game's premium edition for members that have had the game for quite the amount of time. but i guess it's not possible. so i want your opinion, should i get premium for bf3, or wait til they get premium (or whatever they'll call it) on bf4 and then buy that (lesson learned, never buy BF til premium comes out)?

  • Dead Island Riptide question?

i can't wait for this game to come out, anyone know whether or not you will be playing as the same protagonists from the first game? if not, you think we'll have new characters with new abilities (not like the stereotypical characters from the first game). don't get me wrong, it was amusing to see that the ASIAN lady was specialized in sharp weapons (Ninja much?) and the african american rapper was specialized in blunt weapons while the african american woman was specialized in firearms.... but do you think we will have different characters or the same ones from the first game?

  • BT Omega Vs Tippmann A5?

what do you guys think? a bt omega or a5? which should i get? i heard lots of people prefer the cyclone because it doesn't use much batteries, but people don't like it because it tends to chop more often, while a lot of other people like the rip clip because it's pretty much a halo b hopper in the form of a cyclone (in a way considering it accepts tac caps). on the other hand, the bt omega comes with all my tactical needs (plus more considering i'm buying the 2012 edition), while i would have to spend extra to make the a5 look the way i want it to. another thing to consider is that the a5 is a lot heavier, but more durable than the omega. what do you think?

  • Hopper Vs Mag-Fed? which one do you prefer?

Hey guys, i was wondering which i should go with? should i go with a mag fed marker? or stay with my BT Omega with a 50 round gravity hopper i made? Mag-fed would look pretty cool and bring more field of vision considering i won't have a hopper in the way to block my field of view, but then again, i won't be shooting as much paint as usual, here's a list of pros and cons:

    Mag-fed

    Pros:

    -Nice looking

    -No hopper

    -Reloading (pro and con)

    -Realism

    Cons:

    -Reloading.

    -low capacity

    -Awkward reload (Tacamo, Mrx/mr5)

    Hopper

    Pros:

-Cheap (i'm talking about gravity fed ONLY)

    -easy to load

    -high capacity

    Cons:

    -Big

    -reduces field of view

    -not very realistic

    -doesn't always feed well

  • Paintball question, should i keep it? or not?

Hey guys, i was wondering what your opinion is, i have a bt omega 2012 edition with a 50 round app loader on it, and was wondering if i should sell it and get a phenom, right now, i'm running co2 on the omega (going to transfer to hpa when i get the phenom).

    My setup:

Bt Omega 2012 (with hand guard and stock)

Autococker Apex2 Barrel (my omega is apex2 ready)

    50 round loader

    Co2

    What i plan on getting:

    Phenom

    Stock

    Verticle grip

    Tac cap

So what do you guys think? should i keep the omega or sell it for a phenom? oh ya, if i keep the omega, i plan on getting the rip clip (another $100 with tax).

  • Are Sidearms useful in paintball?

i've always thought they were useless when you have like, a 100-200 round hopper, but would it be useful if you play low cap like a mag fed or 30-50 round hopper? just wondering how useful a sidearm is, and also, would a chaser be good for a sidearm? i have a field near me that allows 43 cal paintballs and would like to know if it'd be a good choice

  • Proto Full Coverage Thermal Paintball Mask?

Have you guys ever ordered this? i'm sick of always getting shot at the head and was wondering if this mask would fit me, my head is more of the larger side (can probably fit the jt full headshield. but heard too many bad reviews on that). i want your opinion, will it fit large heads like the full headshield or only smaller heads like the carnivore and flex 8's?

  • Paintball 10 round tube mod?

Hey, i was wondering if there was a 10 round tube mod, i'm not talking about making the 10 rounds, i'm talking about mods for the 10 rounds. i mean, i see tac cap mods like the speed feed. but the 10 round caps, do you think it's possible to mod the lid to make it easier to put paint into a 10 round feel hole?

  • Any PMC games for the ps3?

I'm looking for a PMC related game, i want to be able to customize my character the way i want to look like Metal Gear Online 2 (MGO2). are there any games that allow me to do that? i know MAG does, but it's such an old game and i'm scared the servers are going to close down soon when i buy it >.< so any new games that are pmc related and have lots of customizations? (preferably third person shooter, but if not, then still hook me up). i have Ghost recon future soldier, but that game doesn't have too much customizations, sure, it's a great game an all, but i would love to be able to customize my own character's looks other than masks
