He says he feels left out and I don't get why?
Okay so this is bugging me.
My two friends and I talk online on IMVU together, one is a girl, the other is a guy, and I noticed as of late he has been saying 'brb' a lot. So my friend and I carry on talking as you do and then he comes back and goes quiet again, chipping in occasionally. He kept apologizing for being quiet but kept doing it anyway. Then he wrote:
(his username): <--- Is being quiet because you two seem to be having more fun together
When I asked him if he was okay, he said he was feeling "out of the conversation".
I'm not sure I understand why considering the fact that he ignores us for almost the whole time to play video games (he even told us he was gaming and is not entirely focused on "here") then claims he's feeling left out. I have tried numerous times to include him in the conversation, he takes forever to reply to anything we ask/say, and mentions that he's catching up on the conversation (which suggests he wasn't even paying attention).
This guilt-tripping is annoying. This is a social guy we're talking about here, nothing is stopping him from joining in to the conversation. It makes me conscious about talking to my friend around him because now I worry that he's feeling excluded. I even asked him if it was because he couldn't relate to what we were talking about, he said no. We apologised and told him we didn't mean for him to feel that way, he shrugged it off.
If he doesn't feel like talking to us or isn't interested, why does he stay hanging around when he could just leave instead of brushing us off? Why does he accept the invite then go MIA almost all the time? Nobody is forcing him to or did anything to wrong him, and my friend and I never even left him out. Any ideas? He's acting like a kid and it makes me not want to bother talking to him sometimes. I thought we were cool and consider him to be a good friend of mine. It's not like him to be like this.. so I get the feeling something else might be up. Thanks for reading.
3 AnswersFriends9 years agoI think I committed major shirk?
Salaamu alaikum brothers and sisters, I really need your help.
I was with my friend yesterday and we were talking about what superpowers we would have if we were a fictional character. I said reality warping (please check the wiki definition if you don't know what it is). She replied, "You mean like God?" and I stupidly, stupidly said yes. Right afterwards the thought came to me of the seriousness of what I just said, having claimed I would want powers that were basically like God's (reality warping), implying my character would be "like God" (since I idiotically said yes). I couldn't stop thinking about it all day and when I lay down to sleep I burst into tears in repentance for a long while because I realized I might have committed the worst sin of them all.
I always thought the ability to change anything at will was a cool power but to say I'd want to have that (in theory) and having said yes to my friend's question, have I committed it? I read that associating anything with Allah swt is unforgivable and I think this is what I have done... I know there is nothing like Allah swt, nothing comes close to His majesty, so I haven't the slightest idea why I said that. I don't know what to do and keep crying, I honestly am a mess over this and feel like such an idiot for not thinking through what I was saying at the time. JazakAllahu khairan for your time.
11 AnswersRamadan9 years agoBLEACH FANS: What is the name of this song?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MnpzQgBEpAQ
The above song has appeared so many times and I can't for the life of me find what it's called. I have a feeling it's from one of the films, but I've looked through both the Memories of Nobody and DiamondDust Rebellion soundtrack and couldn't find it.
It also pops up in the scene where Ulquiorra confronts Orihime before his fight with Ichigo when it shows the flashback of her saying bye to Ichigo.
Thanks a lot if you could help. :)

2 AnswersLanguages10 years agoIs it okay to pray for someone to embrace Islam?
There's someone I care about a lot, and well.. they will be punished because they are an unbeliever. Of course, I accept Allah's will if it is that this person will remain astray, but I was wondering, is it wrong of me to ask Allah to guide them? Thanks.

3 AnswersSingles & Dating1 decade agoEx contacted me a week after I broke up with him, is it okay to talk?
Yesterday he asked me what's up and we talked for a few hours, cracking jokes and talking normally like we did when we were together. I could sense a hint of sadness about him, meaning he's not over it emotionally. I still love him very much but we can't be together for a number of reasons beyond control, which is why I felt it was best we went our own ways.
I see a lot of people on websites mentioning about how people should take at least a month apart after a break up to regain their emotional composure, and I do feel that maybe the contact is a little too soon for me because it feels slightly awkward still. I'm still not over him completely and am trying to clear my conscience, but when he contacted me, I didn't want to play games and ignore him because that's unfair, so I received him. After we talked for a bit I offered him my friendship and he accepted, and I kept cool throughout the conversation, asked how he is etc.
What I'm wondering is, is it 'too soon' for us to rekindle our friendship and work from there? Will it cause problems in the future since he's not over it emotionally? I don't think I should talk to him regularly because I feel it might be damaging somehow, I don't know...What should I do?

3 AnswersEarth Sciences & Geology1 decade agoRecurring dream about running away down my street?
I keep having dreams where something drastic happens and as a response, I end up running down my street and away from my house. And as I'm running, within about five seconds, I suddenly feel exhausted and cannot run any faster, and I feel worried that something is going to get me.
The thing that's strange is that whenever I look behind me, there is no one there but I feel the presence of someone pursuing me. This scenario has happened at least three times now within the past few months. I would say that I am have been somewhat stressed recently, what with school work and upholding a relationship, but I have been feeling better lately, and I am happy in my house and have a loving family.
It would be interesting to see other people's thoughts on the significance of this dream. Thank you.
3 AnswersDream Interpretation1 decade agoSolutions for Seborrhoeic dermatitis around the nose?
The red, flaky, itchy and painful skin in the creases of my nose is reacurring, it comes and goes, and can last for a few days. I've read several sources and these symptoms are most likely seborrhea. I have heard of treatments, and am planning to see a Dermatologist, but before I do, I would like to know if anyone has this condition to the extent I have and was successful in calming it. Please. I've had this for a few years now and it is awful, and I am starting to lose the patience of waiting for it to go away on it's own because its painful. I'm worried that it will spread to other sections of my body. I find that washing the area with cold water numbs it a little which only lasts for a few minutes.
What would you recommend I use that will calm my condition?

21 AnswersWrestling1 decade agoWhich Entertainer is/was worth the most money in the music industry at their prime?
Old or young, who in fact was/is worth the most in the world at their prime? I can never seem to find the final answer; I know Michael Jackson holds the Guinness World Record for Most Successful Entertainer of all Time and was worth 750 million dollars during the Thriller era, but I don't know if that's the highest. Anyone know?
6 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoInterested in Interior Design, would like recommendations for a fourth A-Level subject, already picked three?
PLEASE READ:
Many colleges require the student to choose FOUR subjects for A-Level. The career I want to chase is Interior Design, and I would rather continue with my education 'till after University, so I am currently applying for College.
So far I have picked Art & Design, Spanish, and Film Studies, I am interested in all three.
Could you guys recommend me a fourth subject that may help me in my career choice, or would just be fantastic to study (based on your personal experience or just what you know) but would not be too demanding because of Art, which is incredibly time consuming and would be difficult to juggle with.
I would say I am a creative person who is interested in practical work, if that helps. Much appreciated, and please, no advertisements. Thanks. x
3 AnswersHigher Education (University +)1 decade agoAnnoying Commentators?
Tell me you guys have noticed, seriously? Those two british commentators who commentated for the Abu Dhabi tournament and are now doing it on the Qatar Tournament say such outrageous stuff sometimes and it is just sooooo annoying!!
Like during the match between Nadal and Murray at Abu Dubai, one of them was talking about Nadal's new kit, said the weather was hot, then said he is going to "tear Nadal's shirt off in a minute" 0.o Then he said something about Murray having a hot bath. What the living hell?
In the match between Seppi and Federer which Fed just won, Federer hit a nice, clean volley winner and one of them said, "Well, he didn't hit it perfectly". What exactly is a 'perfect hit' again? A winner, most obviously.
Then in the same match, it showed the fitness trainer in the audience who was a woman, and they started talking about how people would come towards her because she is attractive and that if she were ugly it "would be no use because people would run away from her". Absolutely pointless comment much? I think so.
Have you guys noticed the ridiculous comments? It's just getting on me' nerves and i'm just wondering if any of you guys think the same. If so, what did they say?
5 AnswersTennis1 decade agoWhich famous person would you prefer to be stranded on an island with and why? Also, what would you ask them?
Only one. Could be any famous person, whatever their profession, alive or dead, whether you fancy them, look up to them, or are just interested in them. Don't think the whole island thing has to be romantic or anything. Also, please list why, and include one question you would love to ask them!
Yes, I know this is sad, but it's just for fun. Fire away!
16 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoThe movie that made you cry the most/saddest movie you ever saw?
C'mon guys, surely there was one film which pulled on those heart strings!
Movies are too good at getting my emotions running, but the movie that made me cry to the max was 'Castaway' with Tom Hanks. Saddest film ever...when his only friend, a ball called Wilson drifts away in the ocean. :'(
And The Lion King... Classic tearjerker. Everytime I watch it I never fail to cry.
You can also mention which scene of the movie if ya want.
24 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoWhy do my eyes tear up so much when I sing?
It's really strange, and i've always had this. I have a strong voice but even when I sing softly my eyes tear up.
It seems to only happen when I sing songs that aren't exactly 'happy'. I am very relaxed when I sing...Heck, the stuff I sing about isn't even relevant to me, maybe it's because one becomes more emotional in that instance?
I was just wondering if anyone else has this and why do you think it happens? I find it quite interesting how we can capture the emotions from what we are singing, even when it does not associate with us at all.
2 AnswersOptical1 decade agoClassic Forehand or Windshield Wiper Forehand?
Which is more effective?
Please do not answer if you do not have thorough knowledge on each of these. I am not looking for answers such as 'it's your choice; whichever you feel is most comfortable', I would like an in depth informative answer from someone who has good/consistent experience on court, understands the mechanics of each, and is able to explain which is more effective overall.
Thank you very much! x
3 AnswersTennis1 decade agoPro tennis players who have a Windshield Wiper forehand?
I was just wondering if you guys know if any pro tennis players in the top 100 use this shot? I've been reading into this unique swing quite a bit. It appears quite peculiar. I watch a lot of tennis, but it's not always easy to notice this swing during matches. Thank you! x
