I have a toaster that I need to clean out. I've taken out the catch trays but I need to know how to safely clean the inside of the toaster. We are moving soon and I don't really want to pack it up with all the little bits inside of it. I tried turning it upside down and shaking it, but not a helluva lot came out. Does anyone have any ideas? The little manual has nothing of real value in it! Thanks in advance!

Why is it that so many "answerers" post silly, rude comments when people ask for help? It doesn't do anything for anyone when your response to their query is rude or nasty. I just don't get it!! Is anyone else as tired of this as I am???

I'm looking to redecorate my daughter's room. I would like to stick within the same color scheme that we currently have in the room (pinks, browns and creams). I cannot seem to find any bedding that isn't dots or blasted flowers!! Please help me out on this one!

I'm trying to find out the origin of the story regarding the "little people who have to live in the water." A friend of mine heard this story as a small child and swears that there are a group of people who live in southern Mexico who have to stay in the water or they will die. Evidently the people have webbed-feet and are of small stature. They are supposedly found somewhere close to Tabasco. He swears that they are real and that they live in their own little area. If anyone has any idea what I'm/he's talking about, please let me know.

My sister-in-law and her unruly bunch of children have decided to come visit for a few (four) days. She (sister-in-law) has absolutely no respect for me or my home. The last time they all came up, I ended up in a screaming match with my husband over the lack of respect and care she shows my child and home. I guess my question is: How do I approach her about "off-limits" areas of my home without being a total bugger? And, how do I deal with her three children who WILL NOT mind at all?

I would like to keep the peace as much as possible in our home while they are here. It's just that she (sister-in-law) refuses to wrap her tiny little minda around the fact that we have a tiny apartment and not enough room for all of the screaming and kicking that her children love to do. No respect is shown whatsoever and my husband refuses to say anything to her because she is his dear, sweet sister.

I know this is rambly and jumpy, but any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone use the Mirena IUC? Would everyone feel the same anger if it had been six white adolescents that brutally attacked an african american student or would Americans be outraged and already have the verdict in hand? Personally, I feel that the boys committed a crime and regardless of race, should be punished for it. It does not matter if you are white or black or green or purple, committing a crime warrants reprocussions. If we do not punish these boys to the fullest extent of the law, then what is the use in prosecuting anyone? Why should it matter what race the assailant is? Guilty is guilty, innocent is innocent. Those two things aren't dependent on skin color. So why does everything else have to be? Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are completely making this a race war when it doesn't have to be. The two of them would be running wild with "hate crime" if the races were reversed. So, why does race matter in this case? Answer that for me. Please.
