I'm staying in Tarrytown and need to get to Yankee Stadium. I know I have to take the Metro-North, but where do I get off to transfer to the subway to get to Yankee Stadium?

I asked this on the travel forum, but I'm going to ask again in parenting. I'm making a spur-of-the-moment trip to New York this weekend with my almost 9yo daughter. She wants to go to the American Girl Place on day and I'm trying to think of what to do on Sunday. Details:

-We were at the Natural History Museum in December, so won't go again this trip.

-We've seen all the touristy things like Empire State Building, Central Park, Times Square, Financial District (my bros. work down there) etc.

-She doesn't want to see a show or go to MMoA.

-Something spa-like would be fun (for me at least!).

-I'm looking for a New York insider kind of answer. I want a mom experience with a tween that isn't touristy.

Spending a week outside of Boston (in Waltham) in July. My kids will be in camps all day and I want to do something I can't do in Boston with them - explore yarn shops and textile museums. Any suggestions?

Which is better for '07? Which one handles better in the snow? We need an extended cab and a long bed. Towing isn't an issue but we'll need a snow plow. Opinions?

Still looking for a great, rural, sleepy town in the Lakes Region where we can buy big acreage. Can you tell me how built up Gilmanton is? I worry about the area to the south of the Lakes being overrun with MA commuters. Thanks!

I'm particularly interested in a good family community with a town that has safeguards in place to stop excessive commercial growth. A good homeschooling communty is a plus. Replies from locals are especially appreciated. Thanks!

Does anyone have any insight into the cost of upgrading a road? I'm specifically interested in the cost to upgrade a class VI public road in NH, but any input would be helpful (cost/linear foot kind of thing). Thanks.
