In my story a woman cashes in her life savings and goes on an trip. In the beginning I don't really want to go into detail about her boring job (she hates it), so would it be okay to just write one or two paragraphs explaining why she quit and then jump right into the adventure? Or do I need more background?

I know what I want but I have no motivation to do it. I want to write a book and be a published author but everyday I wake up and tell myself I'm going to do it then I don't. I want to have a successful life and have money but I'm afraid I'll end up like my family, they are poor and are always struggling for money. My dad wants me to drop out of school and not go to college so I can go on welfare. I do not want to do that, I hate school but I'm sure as hell graduating. How do I get motivated? I really want to succeed but I have no drive

There was an important school test taking place in a shopping center. There was supposed to be a list on the wall telling each student what exam room they were in but I kept looking but I couldn't find the list. I asked a bunch of classmates but they said they didn't know where it was. I didn't know what room I was supposed to be in. Then the vice principal made me wear a school jumper because I wasn't wearing the correct uniform. Later I went back to her and I saw a man on a ladder. The VP yelled at me for interrupting and she made me give back the sweater. I yelled at her because I know she thinks I'm stupid. Later in the dream I heard news that Tom Cruise died in a plane crash.

What does this mean?

1. I would give one million dollars each to my brother and mother. That would leave me with $8 million.

2. Then I would get some cosmetic work. My nose makes me so self-conscious so I would get a nose job. My pubic area is fat and it sticks out and looks like I have a penis and it’s so embarrassing, so I would get pubic liposuction (no matter how much I exercise it won’t go away). I have always hated my teeth so I would get four porcelain veneers on my front top teeth. I have bad skin so I would go to a dermatologist. I would dye my hair and I’d buy new clothes.

3. I would go to a therapist to help me get over a few issues like OCD and social anxiety and depression.

4. I would use my money to self-publish my novel.

5. I wouldn’t go to college because I really don’t want to.

6. I would pay $500, 000 to get a US ECB investment visa. It’s like a guaranteed green card. I’m Canadian so I need one.

7. I would move to LA and rent an apartment. I wouldn’t want to buy a house because it’s too permanent and I wouldn’t want that responsibility.

8. In LA I would pursue my dream of being an actress.

9. And I would buy a car. Nothing big or expensive. Just a car like Mr Bean’s.

10. And I’d go on a bunch of fun vacations.

Would you rather be a hermaphrodite and get yourself pregnant or never have children at all? You can’t adopt or lose a surrogate either in this situation. How does it make you feel knowing you won't have a family?

How come I think of this exact moment just at the certain part where Lara is jumping over the crates? It's been like 10 years and whenever I think of tomb raider the woman from American idol pops into my head.

I am so disgusted by sea creatures like sharks, whales, dolphins, fish, everything to do with the sea. If somebody mentions the word whale while I'm having a snack I lose my appetite.

I'm writing a story about a group of teenage mystery solvers, kind of like Scooby Doo but way different. It's a popular clique of rich teens. They are all best friends but disagree on many things. Anyway, one girl in the group is a loner who hangs solves mysteries with them, they are her best friends. My question is can I have a loner character have best friends and how do I show she's a loner?

What do they do at events? Like when they are on the cover of a magazine they go on the red carpet and stuff. What happens inside? Is it a party?
