Should I go to visit my long distance boyfriend even though a family member is sick in the hospital?
My boyfriend lives in Sweden and I live in the United States a few months ago he paid for my plane ticket to visit him for a few weeks during Christmas time. I had already seen him earlier this year and we have been in a relationship for about a year now. The problem is my Grandma who I am extremely close to is super sick in the hospital although she doesn't really need my help since all of my aunts and uncles and mother are looking out for her and I only get a ride up to the hospital to see her like once a week anyway so she wouldn't even know I wasn't there and is unconscious right now. But my heart feels guilty if I go and what if something horrible happens while i'm away and I never get to say any last words to her or able to go to her funeral? That would haunt me for the rest of my life... but there is also a chance she will be fine and if I don't go to see my boyfriend any hopes on a future with him will be gone.
3 AnswersSingles & Dating1 year agoHow should I deal with my Christian aunt who tries to control my life choices?
I'm a Christian also who loves the Lord and one of my aunts has a history in the past for bullying me even when I was a little kid over things that have nothing to do with God or religion. Recently she found out i'm planning on seeing my boyfriend who lives in another country a second time and she knows he isn't a strong believer and chased me out of my Grandmothers house saying how she will put a curse on me and saying what a backsliding horrible example for a Christian I was and making all kinds of horrible threats to me if I go see him and sends me 14 paragraphs of messages on Facebook complaining about my decision and saying " I won't let you go" "you're not going" when I am a 26 year old woman. And screams in my face and is obsessed with the idea that I might fornicate with him even though she has fornicated a lot and lived in an adulterous marriage with an ex mafia member who was a heroine addict. She always likes to make me feel like a terrible sinner thinking she will make me better as a person but I find it only discouraging.

To the point where they become like a cult Ex: You're not allowed to eat meat, or use plastic straws, or certain technologies or else you're a horrible person who is destroying the planet.
12 AnswersPolitics2 years agoWhat is your opinion on the migrant crisis that is happening in Europe?
I spend part of the year in Sweden and there are places that don't even look like Sweden anymore if you venture out in the areas where migrants have taken over.

3 AnswersPolls & Surveys2 years agoDo you think my boyfriend should pay for my ticket to see him?
We are in a long distance relationship and I already flew overseas to see him, and I don't make much money. It was his turn to see me next and he told me he didn't have the money to and ended up breaking up with me before he had to. Then we recently got back together and Christmastime is coming up and money is very tight for me right now and I can't afford to see him a second time in a row. Do you think it would only be right if he meets me half way by footing the bill for my ticket since i'm already going to have to pay for my food and extra expenses anyway and am poor.
2 AnswersSingles & Dating2 years agoIs it normal for a boyfriend to only talk to you late at night/ early morning?
Me and my boyfriend are in a long distance relationship and I send him messages throughout the day and he only responds the minute he wakes up or about a half hour before he goes to bed. During that time he is either working or talking to his friends (while online) and makes me wait hours before I hear from him even though he knows I am online too. He also sometimes doesn t even respond to some of my messages. Do you think he is taking me for granted? Or doesn t like talking to me that much?
2 AnswersPolls & Surveys2 years agoHow do you think I should deal with this?
My ex and I recently got back together again he lives in Sweden and I live in the USA. He told me he can't see me right now because he is unemployed so in order to keep this long distance relationship together I have to travel to see him every couple of months and save up the money to do so when I don't really make that much until he eventually gets up enough money to come visit me. He basically told me unless I am able to do this we can't be in a relationship because things will feel too lonely and distant for him. I also told him that I couldn't remain just friends with him after the last breakup because it was too painful for me to know he is going to be dating other girls. My family is worried i'm being controlled by him and that is trying to break me away from them and this is going to end up in a fail and he will just end up breaking up with me again the minute it comes time for him to put in the work of visiting me.
2 AnswersSingles & Dating2 years agoWhat should I do about this relationship i'm in?
He broke up with me but we agreed to just be friends but it's become very painful for me emotionally standing by while he goes back on dating sites and is looking for a new girlfriend. We broke up due to long distance mostly with him being in Sweden and me being in the USA right now even though I was just in Sweden with him recently. Neither of us have the money to travel all the time to see each other and neither are ready to make a big commitment of moving to the others country at the moment. Even though i'm depressed about it I worry about him because his Dad is sick and his best friend might end up moving away and life isn't great for him right now and I want to always be someone he can talk to because he tried to hurt himself in the past from depression. He keeps telling me how he loves me still and hopes we get back together in the future, but that is so uncertain. I just feel I will be depressed if I stay and depressed if I leave.
3 AnswersSingles & Dating2 years agoWould you date a guy who jokingly called you insults?
This new guy I have been dating tells me to " shut the f-- up" and calls me a f--***" and asked if he can call me a sh!tstick and a tornado tw@t and calls me a loser and stuff and claims i'm supposed to lighten up and just accept this is his personality and that he is good to me because he takes me out on dates and buys me dinner. He also slaps my hand if I change the station to a song he likes on the radio, and squeezes me really aggressively when he hugs me or holds my hand, and keeps telling me what kind of shows i'm supposed to like and tells me i'm not supposed to act cute and girly but be more of a basic *****.
4 AnswersSingles & Dating2 years agoDo you think my ex boyfriend will take me back?
My boyfriend and I who recently met a few months ago and are in a long distance relationship broke up but we have decided to stay friends that love each other and date other people and have come to the agreement that if we can't find another person we love more than each other that we would end up being together again in the future. The problem is money is an issue to keep traveling and he has grown lonely without physical contact and a girlfriend there. He said he would like a future with me if money and distance weren't as much of an issue in the future.
1 AnswerSingles & Dating2 years agoDo you think it's healthy to stay friends with your ex if you still have feelings for them?
My boyfriend recently broke up with me over having different religious beliefs (me: Christian / him: atheist) and not wanting to have kids in the future let alone raise them Christian, and the fact we are in a long distance relationship. But I messaged him and told him I would agree to be his friend even though he left me and he agreed and said how he missed me so much and was crying about it. But the problem is somehow in my heart I hope that someday he will want me to be his girlfriend again, and i'm not so sure how I will be able to handle him having another girlfriend and if it will make me too jealous. I feel like I will always be hoping he will want me back. Do you think it's possible he will want me to be his girlfriend again in the future?
4 AnswersSingles & Dating2 years agoCould you tell i'm a Trump supporter?
And I believe in legal immigration my family is immigrants and so is my boyfriend too from Sweden. I also believe he isn't a racist and just wants to do what is best for the United States even if how he says things isn't politically correct.
