I deleted a programme using the add/remove programme in Control Panel. On searching the programme name I find some of the files and folders remain. The add/remove programme advised me to removal these manually, how do i do this?

I have a 3m by 3m gezebo bought from Marks and Spencer. It has an annoying fault that when it rains the water sagas in roofing causing a bulge at the edges of the gazebo. Anybody have any idea how to stop this.

I have just taken delivery of a 2008 registered Ford Fiesta, old shape. It has powered folding mirrors that operate as soon as you unlock the car. I need to have my mirrors folded in to get the car in my garage and of course they are not folded. Anybody had this problem how do I get around it.

I invested £7000 in a Legal and General Lump Sum ISA fives ago. I received my account statement recently which showed the account was worth £8057 on 23/1/08 and only £7635 on the 23/07/08. This does not seem a lot having had it invested for nearly 5 years. What do you recommend I do with it. I don,t want any risky investments.

I am trying to print the English version of the Nintendo Wii Manual for a relative who has bad eye sight. I want to enlarge the print so she can read it but unfortunally what ever I do, ie making the zoom bigger, it still comes out in small print. The manual is in pbf format.

I have a Sony DSC W12 camera. I use it both for stills and video clips. I can save the stills on to a cd and play them back on my TV but not the video clips which are in mpeg format. I used to be able to just copy the video clips directly on to a CD but it won't do it any more. How can I get around this problem.

Uninstall Microsoft Loginnet?

I am using Yahoo Mail, sometimes when I want to contact somebody, an annoying box appears with log into Loginnet. I know this is Hotmail but I want to use Yahoo Mail. How do I uninstall Loginnet. I have tried to typing msconfig, in run and unstall, but I don't see any programme with Loginnet or hotmail in any of the programmes listed.

My PC has developed a serious promblem. In "My Documents" all the documents files when I try to open them I get computer jargon instead of the written wording. Here is an example of what I am getting

On other files I am told that "Windows cannot open C:\documents, The file may be in use by another application, the file format may not be supported by any of the installed converters ot the file may be corrupt.

All the photo files in My Pictures will not open and display the picture.

I have CD back available of both the documents and photos but find the fault quite annoying. I tried system restore but that didnt solve the problem. Any ideas???? My spyware and anti virius give me a clear bill of health I also use a registery cleaner and spybot.

I have Norton Internet security 2006 which was updated to 2007 on line begining of the year. Now when I try to open it, it just opens a frame with Norton on the top and wont run. And before you say get AVG, or any other device, you have to open Norton to get rid of it. Question is how do I get it to open or failing that how to uninstall. I have tried downloading the Norton Tool but even that keeps crashing.

I have a couple of folders in My Documents that a couple of folders contains pictures. When I click on the file, the Windows Viewer opens, with the various buttons on the bottom of the screen, but it doesnt display the image, and states No preview available. Folders in My Pictures are ok. I moved the folder into My Pictures but it still gave the No Preview Available message.

I have a registry Cleaner called Max Registry from Max Secure Software. It has stopped running on my PC. I contacted Max Secure and they want me do download Logmein so they can conect with my PC to check it..

They want my PC access code and Windows Log username and password.

Is this safe and should I do it ?

On starting up my PC (Windows XP) before I could log in the following was display

Checking file system on c: The type of file system is NTFS. The volume is dirty. It then started a clean uo starting at 26% all the way to 100%. Some of the files stating "Recover of orphan file". Well what does this mean, trouble? The PC seems ok now.

I changed my desktop saver this morning. Now the desk top looks different, the icons on it are brighter and sometime they are completely blanked over and you cannot see whats under them. I can click on the items with the curser but when the curser goes on any blank part of the saver it becomes a hand and I cannot right click on anything to bring up the pop up with priororities .

Purchased the above begining of the week. It finds and erasers should of the items but not all. tried contacting the company without sucess. Their newsletter on line is from last year. Anybody else dealt with this company before?
