I've noticed Dominican Republicans are SO SELF HATING! Of all the predominantly black nations, who are OBVIOUSLY black, i've never seen so much self hate in a group of people.

For instance, Today me a close girlfriend (Who was White btw) Got into a conversation with this Dominican girl. Along the conversation my friend said "Where are you from, are Ghanian? You look like Bianca Ojukwa" and this girl nearly clawed my friends head off. She said "I'm not BLACK i'm not a F**king N*gra. I'm dominican"

So I said "Aren't like, the majority of Dominicans black, or have black ancestry. I mean, looking at you, you look very black to me.. In fact you do kinda look like Bianca Ojukwa, only a bit darker"

"I'm Not African i'm 100% Spanish" She said "And my skin isn't dark, it's burnt Indian"

I said "You can't be spaniard if you were born in DR, and what exactly is burnt indian.. Last time I checked that wasn't a colour"

"I am Spaniard, I am 100% Spanish, all real dominicans are 100% Spanish Race, those black people are all Haitiano."

"But, Spanish isn't a race, and you're obviously not 100% Spaniard, Spaniards are white, and you have Caramel coloured skin. You obviously have some Black and/or Native blood."

She continued ranting on about how they were Spanish and indian, and how no black people were never brought to the Dominican Republic, only Haiti. Eventually she got up and walked away.

This isn't even the first time i've heard a Dominican Say this ignorance, some even darker then me have told me that they are Indian, or spaniard. They chemically straighten their hair when if they were truly just spaniard, or just indian they wouldn't need to, because both sets or people have Straight hair. I have a Friend who is infact Spaniard descent, her and parents are as white as they get.

Ok so I'd like too know,

If I call long distance via calling card If I hang up before my minutes are used up.. will I still be able too use those minutes again or Will I have too buy another calling card to make my long distance call?

Don't you just hate when you go to answer a question on YA! and in your opinion you think you answered fairly well,

and then somebody the asker knows answers the question by saying something very random like "Hey Frank did you check out the new selection of DVDs at blockbuster?"

and then the asker gives them best answer with 5 stars...

In my opinion I find it very annoying because, I can only answer a limited amount of questions per day, I decide to give you advice/help and then you give your buddy best answer just so you can say

"Yeah Marc I went yesterday and I rented 2 DVDs" why can't they just email eachother?

I don't mind if somebody else answers the question better then me and gets best answer... I mean it's only fair that the answerer that helped the most gets best answer.

But that's just my opinion

What do you guys think?

Can anyone here tell of any companies (offering services to canada) who give decent international Rates to Guyana weh calling via landline?.

I accidentally added some songs on my ipod touch that i don't want...

my little cousins somehow un-installed iTunes and i had to re-install it.

I know how to delete songs regularly but.. Since i re downloaded iTunes, Those songs aren't in the playlist anymore... is there any way I can still delete the songs?

I've heard that you can use it as a phone, if you buy the mic...

Now do I go about doing this like I would with a regular phone (I.e. Getting it activated with a phone company like Rogers or At&t )

Or Is there another LEGAL way of using the Ipod Touch with a legitimate phone number, that I can give to my friends so I can make/receive phone calls, I don't mind if I have monthly fees (infact I kind of expect that).. but if there's a legal free way that is approved of by Apple then I'd like to know :D:D (I would also like if it Included long distance calls)

Just wanted to know.

I have a 4.0 grade point average and all that's really important to me is getting a good grade but I want to get an IQ test Solely for the purpose of knowing.

even if I get a 2 it won't matter because it's based no how someone believes what a high or low IQ should be like Nevertheless I just want to know what my IQ is.

i'd like to know since i can't find any references.
