  • Will my foot heal normally?

I broke my foot the other day - base of the 5th meta-something. I'm pretty sure I sprained my ankle but the dr didn't verify that. Both inner and outer ankle is swollen and hurts a lot. I stepped on the outer edge of my foot and that's how it broke. Now my foot is curved inward at the ankle like how I stepped on it. They put one of those Velcro shoes on it, but that does nothing to straighten my ankle. My ankle wasn't broken, but im sure its sprained. Will it heal crooked like that? I physically cannot straighten it.

  • Yorkie bites when kissing?

My Yorkie is an adult dog now but he has always had this problem.... He gets super excited and licks my face but he'll throw in a bite as he licks. He doesn't mean to hurt me but how can I get him to stop? He's a very independent minded dog and if I tell him "no" Abt anything, he'll pick and choose when to listen. I also don't want him to think I'm yelling at him for being affectionate.

  • Netflix won't load iPhone 4S?

I use my iPhone for everything. Hulu works fine, the Internet works, Facebook works. Netflix only works half the time. The other half, it will show my homepage but when I click to play something, it just "loads" endlessly.

  • 1.25 lb package of ground turkey. One serving is 112 grams. How many servings per package?

Ok, I cooked some ground turkey. The entire package of turkey is 1.25 lbs. One serving of the ground turkey is 112 grams. How many servings are there in the package? Only answer if you know (dont guess) cuz I need to record these calories.

  • Best Shampoo for dog with Dandruff, Allergies, and Sensitive Skin?

I have a four year old yorkie. He's always had a problem with dandruff. This passed summer, it got even worse (as if it were possible!) and started smelling more than normal. The dr found an infection and prescribed him some pretty potent shampoo and leave in conditioner. It got rid of the infection, but not the dandruff, or his severe itching. I learned that my using expensive shampoos and conditioners from the salon on a dog were BAD because of animal's pH levels being different than human's (at least I can save money now... but I was trying to help him). I also dont bathe him as much as I used to (what the Vet told me). I've heard of Oatmeal shampoos for dogs but his skin is just so sensitive that I want to make sure its the best and that he will have some relief and finally be comfortable in his own skin. Hydrocortisone sprays dont help either and neither did the prescribed leave in conditioner.

  • Sue for defamation of character over email address?

This guy on craigslist has been harassing me for over a month and said some pretty outrageous things just because I wont drop the price of my car in HALF (it's already listed BELOW kelly blue book value). He is absolutely relentless and would not stop even when asked. I've seen others post 'warnings' on Craiglist about abusive buyers, so I did the same. All I said was that the guy had been sending continuously harassing emails and to be CAUTIOUS if you receive an email from him. I then posted his email (which just happens to contain his name). Now he's threatening to sue for defammation of character. Can he do that? I don't think what I said would be enough for that and his email happening to contain his name is not my fault.

  • After a toner, my hair is STILL brassy?

I bleached my hair and its extremely brassy. My roots are yellow and my hair is a light pinkish orange color. It's been bleached a couple of times and the orange isnt getting any lighter. A hairdresser told me to go to Sally's Beauty Supply and buy "White Lady" toner and mix with vol 20 developer. I bought two bottles to make sure my thick hair was fully saturated. It looked like a dirty blonde and I couldnt see any brassiness. After I got out of the shower, however, It went back to looking exactly the same! Please help! I dont have much money. If I had known this would happen, I would have either stayed a brunette or gone to a professional to begin with.

  • What should I name my small health care business?

I'm having the hardest time thinking of a business name. I've had this operating for a little while and now that is really starting to grow, I think it's time to get an actual name for it. I provide home health care and friendship to senior citizens and children with mental or physical disabilities.

  • How can I tame my dog?

I have a 2 year old male yorkie. He has been neutered. He was trained to sit, lay down, shake, roll over, and has been potty trained. Though, when you try to give him a commend (such as "sit") he only does so if he pleases. He very much has a mind of his own. He's not one to be held or petted. He's always jumping off the walls... literally. I also have a little 9 month shih tzu who is the exact opposite and is VERY well behaved and loves to snuggle. I know I can't force the yorkie to let me hold him and pet him if he doesnt want it, but how can I get him to calm down? Is it even possible? NO ONE I know will tolerate my yorkie and people actually tell me I should get rid of him. But, I have been with him since he was a 9 week old puppy, and yes, keeping up with him is exhausting (you can take him on 2 hour walks and he will STILL be high energy!), but I love him and I dont want to risk giving him to someone else who may get frustrated with him and him end up in a shelter or something. But, I am worried because I will be having a baby soon and I dont want him jumping in and out of the crib and all over baby. What can I do?

  • How can I treat my dog's skin to help it heal from excessive scratching?

I learned the hard way that Hartz Flea prevention ointment does NOT work! I got Frontline Plus from my vet about 2 and a half weeks ago. My dog still is having some trouble with the fleas. I've been bathing him with a flea shampoo to help also, and it's really dried out his skin. His ALWAYS had a problem with dry skin, so I've always used an expensive, deep conditioner on him. But with this flea shampoo, the conditioner just doesnt seem enough anymore. My dog has scratched himself to the point of bleeding. I noticed blood on the floor smeared all around and was trying to figure where he was bleeding and I finally noticed all these bright red, bloody patched where he's been scratching. Is there a special ointment I can put on it to help heal (like a neosporin for dogs)? Only thing else I can think of to help is put shoes on him so he wont be able to scratch anymore with his nails (but that wont help heal the skin).

  • How can I FINALLY get rid of the fleas?!?

I have a nearly 2 year old yorkie, and a 6 or 7 month old Shih Tzu. Both of them picked up fleas while we were on vacation (I found out the hard way that the monthly treatment of Hartz flea preventative DOES NOT work!). I've been washing them frequently with a flea shampoo. My shih tzu got sick from the fleas, and had to go to the emergency vet (since it was a weekend) and she and my yorkie were given a pill which would kill the live fleas over 24 hours until the next day, when I could get Frontline Plus from the vet. So, the very next day (yesturday), I immediately went to the vet and got the frontline plus and applied the doses to my two dogs after another bath/drying. I've used flea powders and Flea Raid spray around my apartment and furniture and vaccuumed EVERYTHING (immediately disposing the bag afterwards), and washed all the laundry, including bedding. The dogs have stayed in a tiled bathroom in seperate crates when not outside to potty, get drink/food. I feel like I'm neglecting them, but I want to make sure the flea problem is done with before I let them run around loose again. How long do I have to wait after applying the frontline plus before I can bathe them again? I found another flea on my shih tzu this morning.... when will this problem going away? Is there more I can do? Does the frontline plus kill the eggs also? The vet didn't really give me any information!
