  • Body Dysmorphic Disorder?

I feel so grotesque and I've been told I am so many times, I'm usually rated really low. I try not to care but I can't stop comparing or feeling sick every time I look in the mirror. I wish I didn't care about how I look or that I could be one of those people just born naturally beautiful. I really feel like dying right now, and that's so silly over looks. Does anyone else suffer from this? BDD is killing me, I cannot stand being in my own skin. How can you feel attractive? How do you love yourself? I couldn't ever love a monster like me.

  • Opinions on Animal Testing?

I was curious about opinions on animal testing (mainly in rodents such as mice or rats) and your thoughts on if it is necessary for medical breakthroughs and knowledge.

Personally, my opinion is that lab studies are a necessity when human trials cannot be done. I believe that the animals should be kept in good living conditions and treated humanely and with respect as much as possible given the situation. Animal testing shouldn't be done on cosmetics or hair products and the like. It should be used to help find cures for ailments and to further medical science. Something beneficial. We've learned a lot from lab rats and mice and I find them incredibly for this reason. So what are your thoughts? Are there alternatives?

  • Mouse question (10 points for best answer!)?

Alrighty, so my mouse's pups are about 9-12 days old now, they have just begun to open their eyes so I'm assuming they are at the 10-11 mark. I was wondering if it would be safe to move them and the mom from the 10 gallon they are in to a 20 gallon?

The mom is incredibly skittish, I got her pregnant from someone who was going to feed her to a snake.

Would it be safe, after letting the mom rebuild her nest in the 20 gal and establish everything, to introduce my incredibly calm self black doe? How should I go about doing this and when would be the safest time? I am hoping that, from what I've read about this, the black doe will help give the babies more tame temperaments as well as the mom.

  • Bell Gargoyles soloable in Dark Souls?

All of my buddies keep telling me to give up the ghost and summon a player or an NPC to help fight the first two Bell Gargoyles you encounter in Dark souls but I'm stubborn damnit. So, has anyone had any luck soloing these guys? I mean, they aren't even close to the hardest boss in the game. Should I just give up and summon someone?

  • Oh no! Pregnant mouse troubles (10 points for good answer)?

While going to my breeder and picking up my little girl mouse, they offered me a pregnant doe that was bred with the satin buck I gave back to them (couldn't have two males at the time). I took in the doe and gave her a bigger tank with more hiding places as well as hay and high protein food. The last pregnant doe I rescued from a feeder bin passed away due to an illness I found that all this pet shop's mice had. Didn't go there again of course.

So, I'm super anxious over this little pregnant mouse! I'm well read on the care but I'm confused if the babes should be constantly chirping? She gave birth literally the day I brought her home and I was not expecting that but I've her set up in a quiet room. I only go in there to give her food and just recently gave her a bunch of timothy hay for nesting. When I go into the room there isn't any chirping until I come over to the tank to refill her food dish and give her some good bedding. This would be the babies second day of being alive. I have no idea how many there are as she's very well hidden and I'm leaving her be completely since she doesn't know me well. Should the babies be constantly chirping? Is them chirping when I come in because the momma mouse has moved or is moving them or is it possible she's spooked and actually killing them? The chirps sound like regular ones off of youtube videos I've seen I believe. When should I actually check on the babies and see how many there are and check for any ones that have died and need to be disposed of. Is 4 days good? Any help is appreciated.

  • Help! Pregnant mouse?

Hi, I bought a mouse that ended up being pregnant from the petshop. She is quite big now, kinda looks like she has swallowed a golf ball, and spends all her time resting in her nest. I noticed today there were small pinkish spots of what I'm guessing to be blood on some of the toliet paper, is this normal?? I'm worried something might be wrong with her. She is also quite sleepy seeming, is this ok? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
