Name opinion: Morgan Revelin Hath?
NOT FOR A CHILD, FOR AN ADULT
Just a quick questionnaire:
1. What do you think of this name?
2. What gender do you think it's for?
3. Could you see this as an author's name? If so, what genre could you see for this author?
4. Do you have any other suggestions for a middle name? Something more on the unique side.
7 AnswersBaby Names4 years agoWhere can I find writing contests?
I'm looking for writing contests either online or in magazines but I'm not sure where to start or what's legitimate. I'm an adult, so no teen things, please. Either poetry or prose is within my scope. Any help is greatly appreciated ^_^
3 AnswersBooks & Authors8 years agoCharacter names from the late 1800's?
I'm writing a story based in the late 1800's. I already have names for my two female characters: Melisande and Regan. I'm looking for a name for a young man. He's a lord.
I need something period but not terrible. He's one of the main characters and I'd like something that isn't super common. I was thinking Cole, but I don't really like it.
Any comments on any of the names is welcome!
5 AnswersBaby Names9 years agoI like the pronunciation of Abcde but..?
I abhor the spelling. Is there a better way to spell it? It's pronounced "AB-si-dee."
5 AnswersBaby Names9 years agoA little Latin help: Domine?
Does Domine just refer to the deity, or can I use it as 'my lord'? I'm definitely trying to stay away from the religious side. I'm trying to say something like "I'm yours, my lord/master." Which the beginning of the sentence I'm thinking is Tua sum.
Thanks in advance for any help ^_^
1 AnswerLanguages9 years agoA little Latin help, please?
I'm trying to say something more or less like "I'm yours, master/my lord." I'm finding 'tua sum' to be 'I'm yours', but what's the best way to say the rest? I thought it'd be domine, but is that just referencing the deity? I'm definitely trying to avoid that.
Thanks in advance ^_^
2 AnswersLanguages9 years agoWhat do you think of thought experiment stories?
For instance "The Lady, or the Tiger?". The story is left with the reader choosing how the story ends. Do you like stories that end that way and why or why not?
What other stories have you read that end that way?
1 AnswerBooks & Authors9 years agoWhat's a good response to being coned in a drive-thru?
I work at a Dairy Queen and recently coning has become quite popular in my area (for those who don't know, look it up on YouTube, totally worth it). I think it's hilarious and I want to have a good reaction, but I haven't been able to think of anything. I've seen the videos but most people just laugh or are shocked. Any ideas?

Like manic-depression and schizophrenia. I'm looking for something on the cheap side, perhaps. Something that I can afford as a student.
1 AnswerMental Health1 decade agoI'm trying to make a Halloween costume and don't know where to buy the parts?
I want to be Ellen from Folklore
http://folkloregame.wikia.com/wiki/Ellen_Costume_N...
But I don't know where I should start looking to buy the separate parts. I don't want to spend a whole lot of money. My first thought was resale shops and the like, but I'm sure I won't find the jacket or boots in one. Any help would be appreciated, as well as DIY alternatives to buying the separate parts.
2 AnswersHalloween1 decade agoLet's say that someone has multiple personalities?
When they go to sleep, would you suppose that all the personalities sleep? And if they didn't, would the ones that aren't asleep be aware that the others are sleeping and realize they're the only one awake? Do you think they would be able to watch the others dream?
On a different note, do you realize that you don't dream all night, or do you only remember the dreaming? I'm not asking if you know, factually, that you don't dream all night. I'm asking if you remember not dreaming for part of the night.
1 AnswerPsychology1 decade agoAre there any Celtic goddesses like the Greek Persephone?
In the same vein as a goddess of death or the underworld.

Decided to expand my horizons and read up on paganism. Anything online would be fantastic as well :D
3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoAre there any active cemeteries in or around Austin, Texas?
Anywhere around that area, including all the little outlying towns.
If you don't understand the question, you weren't meant to. Nothing to see here. Move along :P
2 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoI have recurring dreams of a post-apocalyptic world?
I'm just wondering if this means anything. I have these dreams quite often. Always I'm with a group of people and we're trying to survive (the group of people changes each time and I never know anyone). The specifics of the world change each time, so it's not a continuation, specifically regarding what happened to the world to cause the downfall.
Just curious. (also, I don't watch movies like this, so...yeah lol)
3 AnswersDream Interpretation1 decade agoAre there any online communities for people with multiple personality disorder?
I'm looking for something like a forum or e-mail mailing list. Anyplace where one could chat with other people who also have it.
3 AnswersMental Health1 decade agoAre there any alternative treatments for bi-polar disorder?
I'm looking for stuff like vitamins and herbs, maybe tea or something. Not therapy or medication. I'd even consider crystals and other new age stuff like that.
Much thanks in advance ^_^
6 AnswersMental Health1 decade agoI'm trying to figure out where this picture came from?
I received it for Christmas and am curious about it. It looks like it was cut out of something. The woman in front is holding a crystal ball. Sorry for the terrible picture quality ^_^"
