5 AnswersQuotations8 years agoIn Access 2010, how to create a Days to Ship Expression?
The question in the exercise is:
"Create a calculated field named DaysToShip to calculate the number of days taken to fill each order. (Hint: The expression will include the OrderDate and the ShippedDate; the results will not contain negative numbers.)
I've come up with:
DaysToShip: [OrderDate]-[ShippedDate]
It calulates correctly, but with a negative number as a result.
I can't figure out how to make the result not negative, ie, without a minus sign in front of the number. The textbook is useless.
If you know of a good website, send it along, too.
Thank you.
1 AnswerOther - Computers9 years agoWhy does my laptop play DVD's intermittently?
Store bought DVD sometimes will play, and sometimes it won't. With Windows Media Center I get the message: "The DVD may be in use by another application. If all other applications are closed, the video resolution may need to be lowered or the display connection may not support the playback of the DVD."
Windows Media Players says, “Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with digital copy protection between your DVD drive, decoder, and video card. Try installing an updated driver for your video card.” Same for Real Player.
I have updated drivers till I’m blue in the face. I have the most current codec, as far as I know. I’ve tried changing the resolution, but it does not help. And I think that’s bull anyway, because it USED to work just fine.
This particular DVD will play the “commercial” at the beginning of the DVD, but not the movie itself.
It's an Gateway about 3 years old. I've tried posting this on their website without getting a response that make sense.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

3 AnswersInsurance1 decade agoWhy doesn't a DVD no longer play in my laptop?
I use Windows Media Center, press the start button, and keep getting an error message: "The DVD may be in use by another application (Is it not). If all other applications are closed (they are), the video resolution may need to be lowered, or the display connection type may not support the playback of the DVD."
I tried Windows Media Player and I get this message: 'Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with digital copy protection between your DVD drive, decoder, and video card. Try installing an updated driver for your video card."
Real Player doesn't work either.
I used to be able to play a DVD, now I can't. I haven't done anything to it I know of.
I've updated the drivers. I've run the Media Center set up about 10 times now, with different displays, to no avail.
It's a Gateway less than 2 years old, if that helps.
Please, any advise you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
4 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks1 decade agoWhat is the name & artist of the famous piece with all the objects women are called: Doll, dish, etc?
Late '60s, maybe early '70s. Not a painting but an actual physical installation of objects that are also slang terms for women.
All I remember for sure are a doll and a dish.
Probably included
A dame (female sheep)
Honey.
A.Dear.
A Baby.
A *****, I suppose.
Pretty famous piece of art.
Need name of artist, title of work, and if can include a link to a picture, I will jump for joy.
Email if you have questions.
Cheers!

1 AnswerOther - Computers1 decade agoIs it possible to have a mild case of Swine Flu?
I was sick all weekend. Had a fever, etc. on Saturday, took advil, felt better. Fever was back on Sunday. Repeated. Now I'm fine.
Can I chalk it up to my superior immune system, my regime of vitamins and clean living, or am I kidding myself and I just had some mysterious viral thing that passed?
And if one has Swine Flu, does it make one immune to that virus?
Thank you.

4 AnswersCelebrities1 decade agoHow do you kill a zombie?
Not that I'm a zombie, don't think I am.
Just was wondering. Is it a stake through the heart? Or it that Vampires? Do you just lock them up and let them starve do death? Seems rather cruel, even if they are un-dead. Nuclear explosion seems like over-kill, no pun intended. Must be a better way.
