  • Any Kicker Worth Keeping?

Is there any kicker in the NFL worth keeping on a bye week? I've got Phil Dawson, who put up a couple huge point totals already this year, but who has a bye this week. I've got Toby Gerhart who I could drop, but is any kicker worth holding on to?

  • iMessaging with iPad?

So I'm actually jumping out of the Apple ecosystem. Before, I had both an iPad and an iPhone, but today I'm getting a Galaxy S4. My question is, will my iPad iMessage app still be linked to my phone number? Or after I transfer my number to the S4, anyone I iMessage will now see my apple ID, and not my phone number.

  • Fire pit over patio covering?

I want to put a fire pit in the center of our outside patio, but there is a covering/awning (not sure exactly what it’s called) 10 ft from the ground. The beams for this covering are wood but the covering itself feels like tin or some other kind of thin metal.

Would I have to cut a hole in the top of the roof for a fire pit, or is the 10 ft high enough up for the heat not to effect the covering?

  • Saving vs. Paying Off Debt?

A friend of mine has been saving money and boasts about having $8,000 in the bank, yet I just found out last week that he's got about $5,000 in credit card debt. I told him to pay off the debt first instead of saving but he says he likes the flexibility of having cash available.

  • Fantasy Football Waiver Order - Week 1?

We just finished our draft and the league automatically set a waiver order. How was that decided? Do they rank your team and decide the waiver order that way? Is it the order in which you signed up?

  • What WR to start week 1?

I’ve got Marques Colston tonight against the Packers or Sydney Rice on Sunday against the 49ers. I would normally start Rice just because the 49er secondary is not great, and the fact that Brees throws it to everyone, but I’m nervous because Rice has a shoulder injury, and if iffy for week 1. I would hate to miss out on both receivers by waiting for Rice and to have him be injured come Sunday.

    So….Rice or Colston?

  • 5.0 GHz Router Trouble?

I just bought a new Belkin router. This new one I bought has dual connections running: a 2.4 GHz and a 5.0 GHz. My macbook found the 5.0 GHz no problem, but when I tried to connect my PS3 and my iPhone to the same network, it couldn't find it. All that shows up from the scan is the 2.4 GHz. Anyone out there know why this is happening or what I could do to change it? I'd like for the PS3 specifically to take advantage of the 5.0 GHz if possible. Thanks in advance everyone...

  • What WR Start Week 15?

So should I start Deon Branch or Larry Fitzgerald? To add a little background to my matchup, I'm playing against Tom Brady, so if I start Branch I could hedge my bet.

  • WR Fantasy Start Week 14?

Dwayne Bowe or Deon Branch? Bowe had a goose egg last week and he's playing the Chargers. Branch and the Patriots looked amazing last night and have the Bears this week. What do you think?

  • Should the Landlord pay?

So the front door of our place is not in good shape. The bottom threshold is falling off and the wood is weathered and has a good 8 inch crack in it. We've emailed the landlord a couple times about fixing it, but she's yet to respond to our email. My roommate finally got her on the phone to talk about it. She said she'd have her guy come out and take a look at it, but that's yet to happen.

What are the laws (I live in California) regarding this situation? Is the landlord required to fix the door, or do we have to pay out of pocket? I've heard of situations where if we pay out of pocket, we're allowed to withhold that amount from future rent. Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

  • Which RB should I start week 1?

My RB situation is actually pretty good. I got AP, Rashard Mendenhall, Pierre Thomas, Ahmad Bradshaw and Cadillac Williams. Normally my 3 RB's would be AP, Mendenhall and Thomas, but for week one Thomas is playing the Vikings #1 ranked rushing defense. What third running back do you all suggest I start?

  • WR Start for Week 16?

So my decision is between Hines Ward vs. Baltimore or Hakeem Nicks vs. Carolina. Normally this is a no brainer for Ward, but his hamstring is bothering him. What are your thoughts?
