Problem with GE Profile Refrigerator Freezer?
I have an issue with the freezer part of a GE Profile refrigerator. It will start out well below 0F and slowly warm up to around +20F. After it starts to warm up a little, the compressor kicks in, but the fan that should be blowing air across the refrigerant doesn't seem to turn on. It seems with just the compressor running, the freezer will maintain something around +20F. Eventually, the fan kicks in (it seems like once it gets warm beyond a certain point) and it cools right back down to well below 0.
I haven't really noticed an issue with the refrigerator part, although I don't have a thermometer in there.
I've already replaced the fan (when I tested it, it was getting 12V, but I'm guessing thats because it had warmed up from me having the door open while working on it). I fear it's an issue with a circuit board, but wanted to see if anyone had any other ideas before I decide between replacing the board or just replacing the whole thing.
2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs3 years agoProblem after root canal...?
Two days ago I went to the dentist with a considerable amount of pain coming from around a top molar. My dentist decided that the tooth had died and performed a root canal. He mentioned while doing it that there was a considerable amount of infection in there, but that after the procedure I should notice a considerable amount of relief; that never happened. As soon as the novacaine started wearing off I started to feel as if there was pressure within my gum. Yesterday, the pressure seemed to intesify along with the pain. Today when waking up, the pressure seemed to be relieved but the swelling has increased and there seems to be a large bubble back there. I'm assuming I had an infection within a bone which caused the pressure; but has now released and is causing the swelling. Is this something that should clear up on it's own, or do I need to once again go back to the dentist?
