My mom was letting my horse graze and left him alone while she went to the bathroom (which I told her not to do millions of times but she didn't listen). When she came back he was fighting with 2 horses who were in their stalls. The other horses are fine but he is 2 cuts on his face that i don't want to become scars. She rinsed the wounds as good as he would let her do and sprayed some Scarlex on it immediately. She called me and I went over as soon as I could. I rinsed it again and put more of that spray on just to be sure it was clean.

It isn't bad. He just scraped the skin enough to make it bleed. He doesn't need stitches or anything like that. But I really don't want it to scar.

So I was wondering if you have any tips on making sure it does not scar.

I will look at it again first thing in the morning and i will ask my trainer for her thoughts on it, but it would be nice to have some advice now.

My horse is in a box stall with a horse only on one side of him. He mostly kick during dinner time but there are times when he kicks because the other horse has his head over trying to see into his stall.

My horse hates other horses. So I can understand him pinning his ears or whatever, but the kicking is obnoxious!

I am worried it is going to get him hurt. Every day at 3:30pm it starts because dinner comes at 4pm and he kicks till the moment the food gets into his mouth. I am worried he might kick so much he put his leg through the wall. He only kicks with his right hind and so the owner of the barn told me to put kick chains on him, which I did... and still, he doesn't care, he still kicks! The only way to avoid it is by having him out of his stall before 3:30pm hits. And I can't do that every day and he probably does it at breakfast too I'm just not there to hear it. Is there any other tips you could give me to make it so he doesn't hurt himself or kick a whole through the wall?

I am looking into becoming a police officer but don't want the risk of dying on the job. I love to help people and I the thought of protecting people sounds like a good job for me. But the thought of dying just makes me rethink it.

What are the pros and cons of becoming a police officer?

Or even are their other jobs out there that are not in that kind of danger but where I could help people and protect them without dying or becoming some sort of doctor or nurse?

i know its early in the game but i need help please

I have a friend that has done this to me before where she will tell me that i need to do this this and that so that i can be happy. but i am happy just the way life is but she convinces me that i am not happy because my life is not how she thinks it should be. like this time she told me that i need to cut my hair (to her length) and sell my horse to get new one so that i can show and do what she does. oh and she doesn't want me to trail ride anymore because my horse is a "show horse" but honestly i don't have the money to show so why should i just have my horse in one mind set and never do anything else with him.it just irritates me that she wants to run my life for me. but because i look up to her and i trust her judgment i let it hurt me. and i can't stop it. I just have no idea what to do and i really can't say anything to her because she will think that i don't like her or that i ... i don't know but she is not a person i can say something to easily.

but why do people do this?

My best friend is having a birthday party. We have been planning this for the past few days and we finally decided to go to a comedy club. That sounds fun right? Well she knows i don't like her sister or her sisters boyfriend and she asked me if it was ok to invite her sister and i told her, "Well its your birthday so if you want her there then sure, but can u not invite the boyfriend?" but the sister insisted on bringing the boyfriend, so my friend said ok. Then she told me she invited her other friend that is a little on the annoying side and i am not really friends with because of past differences. The problem is that i just feel like it will be very awkward for me to go and i wont be happy which will make her unhappy because i am unhappy, and well i think it would be better off if i don't go.

Would it be really rude of me if I call up the morning of and say for some reason i cannot make it?

And i know i know I should just suck it up and be nice and throw on a smile just for that day, but i really can't because I have very good reasons as to why i don't like being around these people and normally I would oblige but when they are all together it will just make it harder on me.

I don't know what to do...

My horse raced and won at Bay Meadows 3 years ago. I know it is closed but I was wondering if there was any way I could get a hold of that video anyways?

My cat is 6 years old and has never really been sick. We had her up to date on all her shots up till about 2 years ago. She is an outside/inside cat. She is almost always upbeat and a fun loving cat. But 1 week ago from today (last Tuesday) I noticed that she was drooling and didn't seem herself. I figured she may have eaten something that didn't agree with her so I didn't think much of it. She had the drooling for the next 2 days but she started to get very lethargic and she lost her appetite. She would only eat can food. But she just looked like she didn't feel well. So Saturday was the first day I could take her to the vet and he said she had a fever and bad breath, but that he needed to do all these tests, x-rays, and shots to find out what it could be but I figured maybe it wasn't as extreme as he was thinking so maybe if I gave her just some oral antibiotics the he prescribed she would be ok in a few days. But now its Tuesday and she isn't better. I mean she did perk up a little, but she is still not normal.

Do you have any idea on what could be wrong with her. I am going to take her to the vet again tomorrow but I would rather not put her though all that trouble if its not as scary as it could be.

Ps. Btw my vet likes to go a little extreme sometimes so it might not be all of these terrible diseases that he mentioned.

I am trying to do a report for school on the comedian Joey Medina and I looked at a lot of websites and his age doesn't seem to show up anywhere and his myspace page says that he is 82. So I know thats not true... or he must really looks good for his age. Can someone help me out please?
