  • Jake Peavy for Liriano and Peralta?

I got offered a trade: I would get Jake Peavy and give up Francisco Liriano and Jhonny Peralta in a head to head keeper league. What should I do?

  • Cleveland Indians Adam Miller?

what a blow to the Cleveland Indians and to Adam Miller. How do you think this affects the Cleveland rotation? Miller was a gem and highly sought after in trade talks and now it may all be over for him - your opinion on how this affects the Tribe?

  • Cleveland Indians Kerry Wood, Off Season Moves? ?

does any of this make them a better team? The players acquired in the three way team trade or the signing of Kerry Wood? Any Tribe fans - like me - happy that they did NOT resign Casey Blake?

  • Can You Afford To See Your Baseball Team Play?

I had a 20 game ticket plan for the Indians in the mezzanine section (2 seats). It cost $480 last year and I just got an invoice for $663 and they say it is actually a 21% discount. I just got priced out of the market and am wondering if this has happened to anyone else - regardless of who your team is? Can you afford season tickets, partial or whole season ticket plan?

  • Good Baseball Fantasy Trade?

what do you think of this trade:

Josh Johnson (SP - Marlins), Fernando Rodney (RP - Tigers) and Chris Ianetta (C- Rockies) for Delmon Young (OF - Twins). I gave up Delmon Young. I went ahead and pulled the trigger but am wondering what others think. It is a head to head keeper league but I was not going to keep Young. I also have Brian McCann so McCann can catch and Ianetta can DH or vice versa.

  • How Many Cats Have You Owned at One Time?

I am not talking about "hoarders." I am talking about the most cats you or someone you know has ever owned AND taken care of properly. So - how many? 5? 10? 20? more?

  • Travis Hafner?

Doesn't anyone else think it is odd that the guys shoulder just loses its strength? No structural damage, just no strength and he "probably" will return this season and hopes to get in "150 at bats" - I am surprised this has not gotten more attention. The guy used to be a beast and now he is a pussy cat that can't lift a bat. Was this guy juicing?

I would love people's opinions on this. Do you think there is any merit to his opinions?

  • Falling Asleep During Sex?

One of my friends called today. She is feeling very angry and hurt. Her b/f nodded off during sex - oral sex. They were both tired but decided to make love anyways and he nodded off. I should say that he is also in the process of being treated for a sleep disorder. He is extremely apologetic but she is very hurt and heading for depressed. She said she doesn't want to get hurt like this again and maybe just shouldn't have sex with him anymore. They usually both enjoy the oral sex but it takes her a long time to reach an orgasm. These are the details given to me. Any advice would be helpful.

  • Cleveland Indians: Travis Hafner?

As an Indians fan, I am concerned about the future of Travis Hafner who has slumped for the past 2 years. Now he has elbow and shoulder problems but I read the front office knew he had some problems when they traded for him. He appears worthless at this point. OK - my question(s): will Hafner ever return to his 2006 form? will he have any trade value whatsoever since he is a DH and can't hit the broad side of a barn right now? Do you think he was using steroids, HGH or both (yes, I am SERIOUS) which might explain the breakdown? What do you do with Hafner if you are the Indians holding a 53 mil contract?

  • Any Cliff Lee Fans?

I have always liked him, even when he got demoted to the minors I still liked him so I am very happy for his positive season thus far. I can't even totally say what it is that I like so much about him but when he signed the contract extension he seemed just really down to earth. He did not get all full of himself over a contract extension though he is a lefty and had been an 18 game winner. I think Cliff Lee is very under rated and forgotten because he plays for a small market team, is not a media junkie or a celeb and just goes out there and does his job. Reminds me of Charles Nagy. Are there any other Cliff Lee fans out there? Thoughts or feelings on Lee? Would anyone want Lee on THEIR team?

  • CC Sabathia and the Cubs?

I heard somewhere that the Cubs would really like to have Sabathia but have not seen anything on it personally. Any truth to this? what would the Cubs have to offer the Indians in exchange, seeing as the season is at its midpoint and Sabathia is still free to leave whatever team he is with at the end of the year. I am an Indians fan and I hope Shapiro pulls the trigger because Sabathia falls apart in the clutch and even if he did not, no way do I see him signing for less money to stay in Cleveland. Any ideas? Comments? Recent rumors involving Sabathia? Sabathia and the Cubs? thanks!

  • Should the Cleveland Indians trade Sabathia now?

I know they are not out of contention in what appears to be a weak AL Central this year but I doubt that the Indians will be able to resign Sabathia and a team needing a pitcher might be willing to trade a decent hitter to Cleveland. If the Indians are going to lose Sabathia anyways, why not trade him to a team that may actually be able to afford him and Cleveland gets something in return instead of getting nothing like they did with Manny Ramirez?

  • Could Lebron Play LF for the Indians?

got to be better than what they have now. And how many think the Indians should have traded for Carlos Quentin? Anyone following him last season with the dbacks knew he was good and now he is playing a nice LF for Chicago instead while we muck around with bench jockeys.

  • Himalayan Cat Very Upset With Owner, Normal?

Sam Grady, my prized sealpoint Himalayan, returned home last night. He is a very angry boy - and I do not mean lashing out because Sam Grady is a sweetie but he is very obviously upset with me. I guess being left at the vets for 6 days and major surgery (urinary blockage, tear in the bladder) will do that. In the past, I had to leave him at the vet overnight due to med issue. But 6 days, never. So he probably did not understand although I visited him every single day. It probably does not help that his previous owner had dumped him off at a vets and wanted him euthanized. Fortunately, the vet handed him over to a rescue group. But his checkered past probably made this worse. The vet was not surprised that he is in a snit. However, I was really disappointed when I brought him home last night and found him to be so aloof and angry with me. Is this common?

  • Detroit Tigers Fans Are You Concerned?

All we have heard about is Cabrera and D-Train. The Indians, namely Grady Sizemore and Travis Hafner, are sizzling. Feeling some heat, just a bit, or going to say it is only spring?

  • Statutory Damages: Subtantive or Procedural?

are statutory damages considered procedural or substantive? I live in Ohio and am researching this but feel like I am going in circles. Anyone providing me a valid link to a legal site will probably get the best answer vote on this. I have been going in such circles that my head hurts! Damages are part of a wage and hour claim. Ohio has a constitutional statute on the books but does this necessarily make the damages substantive? thanks for any help you can give me.

  • Francisco Cordero or Mariano Rivera?

I have first pick in the draft and thought I would pick up a closer. It is head to head keeper league so players like Arod...etc. are not available which is why I am looking at a closer and not a stud like Arod or Grady Sizemore; they are not on the boards. I have Prince Fielder, Brandon Phillips, Brian McCann, Travis Hafner, Francisco Liriano, Fausto Carmona and Delmon Young as my keepers. Closers seem to go quickly. Who is the better of these two? I have no guarantee of getting Joba Chamberlain though he will be on the boards. I mention him because if Rivera goes down he will undoubtedly be the closer for the NYY. I had Borowski last season, lots of saves but ERA too high.

  • No Sure Thing in Baseball?

Was this just a bad outing or the second coming of Rick Ankiel? Just goes to show that no team has all the answers and anyone making these proclamations that this team or that team is a lock for the trophy is not taking other factors into account.
