My sister is the quiet type, and doesn't have visitors very often. She rents a single room, in the basement of a two story home, and has use of communal living spaces (kitchen, livingroom, and shared bathroom in basement). A tiny room. Her landlord recently got social services called on her, after neighbors heard her having yet another screaming match with her mother and daughter (three generations of screeching!). They suspect it was the person my sister had visiting that day. Do they have a right to tell my sister she can't have visitors anymore? My sister is a quiet person, and her visitors are few and far between, never overnight. Her visitors (including me) are quiet. I've only been their once in the last two months. Can they legally tell her she can't have anyone else on the property?

For some reason our pumpkin vines (which came up by accident), produced one big pumpkin (not huge) and then stopped. It's a gorgeous one. Then about two weeks ago it began producing three more pumpkins. They have grown quickly going from golf ball, to softball, to nearly basketball in just a couple weeks. The house is near a lake and the aupair begins to see strange things, and believes ghosts are after the children. It's a very dark movie in mostly greys and the trees appear skeletal most of the time.

I have no idea what the name is, other than she goes into the garden and meets up with the god Pan and the entire thing is in german or french (german I believe). It's a very dark movie, any know the name?

I let my husband talk me into getting Goldfish for our daughter last year, figuring they wouldn't live long. My husband put them in a fish bowl, but they got too big, so he moved them to a ten gallon tank (and got them a filter and aerator). They of course kept growing, being in a bigger home. Now they are 18mo old, are in a 20 gallon tank (which replaced the 10 gal when it cracked) are very big and very healthy. How long will these two be around?

Is there a way to smooth out slightly wavy concrete? The guy who poured it got heat stroke halfway through (didn't have enough sense to start work early and avoid the heat, he started work at 11 am and worked till 3 pm and then went to the hospital). He's fine, but now I have a 25ft by 33ft slab of concrete 4 inches deep, all set up and it has dips a rises in it. not huge ones but with a difference of a half inch between the high points and low points. Could another 1/2 inch of concrete be added to smooth it out? Or would the 1/2 inch just not adhere to the concrete there now and crumble? It's was poured two days ago and is mostly set up (enough you can easily walk around on it and is completely dry on top)

My neighbors are blasting their music so loud I can hear it word for word, beat for beat, note for note, while i'm laying in bed trying to get to sleep. They are also singing along, standing in the street screaming at each other and cursing me out when I ask them to stop. This happens between 8 pm and 2 am in the morning. I had a deputy inform me that because loud trucks go by HIS house on a dirt road at 5 am every day, he's not going to do anything about my neighbor except tell him to play it longer and louder. I've called the sheriffs office four times and every time it was after midnight and the music could be heard four blocks away. (i'm right across the street from him)

What is done with tissue removed during an operation. I've heard that in Canada people have no rights, and that they even have students perform exams on them without permission while unconscious. I had a full hysterectomy awhile back. I live in the USA, and i'm horrified by the thought that my eggs might have been kept and used. (ie thousands of my eggs used to create embryos (my children) and then destroy them (murder them)). Noone talked to me before hand about what would happen to the tissue, I assumed it would all be destroyed.

I the half life of Nuclear material is several thousand years, and the world is 4.5 million years old, how do we have any left? Wouldn't the half life of pretty much all radioactive material have passed a couple of million years ago?

I'm trying to sign into the Zune website. It keeps telling me i'm either not signed onto the internet or my firewalls are too strict. Neither is true, i've done everything the the zune website has recomended. is there another reason that i might not be able to access the Zune server? Is there a phone number I can call? I'd like to talk to an actual person.

My zune was stolen and I'm getting a new one, will it be possible to synch the new one up just like I did the old one? Can I put all my music from the Zune site on the new one?

I just got a (very small) Fondue pot. I know for chocolate fondue you need to add cream, but what about Cheese? does anyone have a recipe for small batches of Fondue? Small being about a cup and a half. It's electric and uses two pots, so it is sure not to scorch. So how should I do the cheese? What kinds of things can you think of to dip?
